EMBASY OF EVIL
Awful place in deep and broad ways.
First, the food is not good at all. The arroz con bogavante, a dish that is tasty in every modest Galician bar, is a tasteless heavy dough here. The raya is maybe the best they do, and yet is not at the average level of a humble tavern. Don't come here for the food. It is not good.
The space is neither good. It feels like being in a tiny corner of a parking lot. With half of the tables exposed to the sun in a very unpleasant way. The interior is packed, and lightless. Not nice.
The wait times once you order are ridiculous and the service is chaotic. We got the first dish after 40 minutes haven ordered. And the next thing took 30 minutes more (and was not what we had ordered).
It is the service what is a massive problem here, and why you should not come here unless you are into serious masoquism.
THIS PLACE DOES NOT HONOR RESERVATIONS. Once you arrive you find out that your reservation does not mean that the restaurant kept a table for you, the restaurant put you in a long list behind anyone who happened to pass by the restaurant and asked to be served. We literally had to wait for 90 minutes, having made a reservation weeks in advance.
SATAN RUNED
It gets even worse. I was there with my parents, who are both above 85. We asked for them to be allowed to wait inside, at the bar with AC and sitting in two of the empty stools. As they were sitting there, the owner came raising her voice, and asked them to immediately go outside to stand in the sun to wait. The most insensitive thing I have ever seen.
I ended wondering if this is a restaurant or a. tiny center for a cult to SATAN-induced hate for the elder. read more
