The beautiful island of Møn is surrounded by shallow water. Impossible to navigate here if you are a stranger coming into the small sounds and bays. So the island once had many pilots ready to help. Especially those living on the north side in the village of Nyord. This little house was once the position the pilot guard had to overlook the sea traffic and give order to send out a pilot to assist the ship on its way. Today all that is gone, but the house stands as a museum, celebrating the time when Nyord through the pilot system made a lot of money and became wealthy. Tiny but illustrative with a charming view of the sea and the landscape.
