This law firm totally screwed up my disability claim. They didn't listen to me. They never sent SSA my medical records as I asked several times. They are not local. They do not reply when you contact them. They cost me two years on my SSA case. Do not accidentally sign on with them like I did. I just wanted questions answered and they snuck in some paperwork obligating me to them. Now I am out of savings due to waiting for updates only to be denied. read more

Let me start by saying No I have not won my case yet in fact I just went Infront of my ALJ judge and my lawyer Jessica Turkish was amazing. She's just so knowledgeable and understanding. I have quite the medical file 2900 pages if not more 43 exhibits, but Her and her assistant Kyra made sure everything was in order and Infront of the Judge. I know that every case is not the same and basically, it's the Judge that makes the final decision but having someone who you feel comfortable with and takes the time to know you and your condition matters. I just want to say thank you for showing up for me when i needed it most. No matter the outcome I am forever great full. Thank you, Nyman Turkish for making me feel at ease with the whole process. Oh, and its true just be honest and speak from the heart at your hearing. sometimes that is what works best. Ashley read more

Absolutely the worst Law firm I have ever used, with that said be aware that these people do not fall under the Florida Bar they are in line with Federal Bar good luck navigating the Feds website and red tape. They are a deceiving law firm by means that they do not call you, text you and rarely e-mail you. I have had them for five years and I can count on one hand how many times they have contacted me. Lets see who Melissa Nyman, Beverly Meyerhoff and Jeremy Hays really are I will become a thorn in their side and they will either conform or be fined and out of business. read more

The only reason they are getting three stars is because I won my case, but it wasn't because of anything that they did. I won the case on my own by following up and getting all my documentation in order. They basically did nothing. Had they submitted the documentation in a timely matter I most likely would've won my case before having to go before the judge. I guess they do that on purpose so they get more money. I spoke to my attorney twice on the phone in the almost 3 years of representation, one being the day before my hearing. There were mistakes made along the way that I had to fix on my own. They never even notified me to let me know that I won my case. I had to see that on my own. I never even got a follow up call. They walked away with $9600. For doing absolutely nothing. Live and learn. This is the second time I've left a review but the first one they begged me to take down and told me that they were sorry and that they would follow up with me to go over everything once they received the final decision, but that was never the case. I had to figure it out all by myself. Thanks for nothing. read more

Amazing..They have gone above and beyond to get my ssd claim thru and moving.I have tried to delete my previous post but I can not figure out how to do that. read more

If you wish to file a social security disability claim and are thinking about using this Law Firm , I would suggest using a different law firm. The only reason they are getting two stars is I actually did receive my social security disability after a year. All the work is on YouTube fill out all forms , applications, documentation, etc. I was contacted every couple months by them to see if there was anything new in my medical record . However, if I contacted them with a question on the application the answer basically was answer it correctly and truthfully. There are so many nuances to Social Security disability claims that it is sometimes hard to know how to answer the question. Anytime I asked for advice I received the same answer which was just answer it truthfully. Direct questions were answered vaguely. Ultimately if you can get the application in yourself without a law firm I would do that. In my particular case I needed a little bit of advice up front . Had I not needed that I would not have used a law firm at all. If I have a family member or close friend that ever needs to file for Social Security disability I can now help them through the process of initial application and then the rest of it we can do ourselves. Ultimately in the end they received a decent portion of my back social security check . I would rather have collected that amount of money myself. read more

I filed in Oct 2024 and got approved end of September 2025. After A Social Security Doctor visit. I filled, filed, fax, and mail all my paperwork. I got all 141 pictures developed with all documents ready to take to my doctor appointment. I only game one star because I really didn't see anything they did for me. I didn't even see anything the law firm sent to Social Security on my half. I think they got to much for what they didn't do. read more

If I could give Nyman Turkish a 10 star rating, I would. This team worked diligently behind the scenes and found some info was missing in the paperwork submitted to the Disability Office. In fact, they saw that the office never received my packet. Because of this, had I not obtained Nyman Turkish to handle my case so i wouldn't have to, I would still be waiting for a response from the Disability Office. Mark Kramer and Melissa as well as the whole team made sure that my case was handled not only professionally, but with personal care. The compassionate conversations over the phone everytime I spoke to someone when I called in to the emails I received of how my case was coming along. You see, at first I thought, oh I can do this on my own. Go to self help and do it myself. Wrong. There are so many complicated pieces in these cases, which can vary from case to case, so hiring someone would be my best option. I wouldn't have to be on hold for hours waiting on a recorded line with Social Security for updates and the frustration of not knowing, so I took my chances. The best part is, they are pro Bono which means if you dont win, they dont get paid. So guess who is going to fight hard for you? You guesses it, Nyman Turkish. I have already told my friends and family about the amazing experience I had with this company. I promise you, if you obtain them, your experience will be stress free knowing they are behind the scenes working it out making sure everything is in order and making sure the process is easy for you. Thank you Nyman Turkish Team and Happy Holidays to you and your team read more

My wife has suffered from back issues for years. She was a health care worker who prided herself on providing exceptional care for her patients. However, in 2000, her back issues finally caught up with her. As a result, she was unable to work. Her pain was debilitating. Her doctors recommended she retire from healthcare. They labeled her as disabled, unable to work. We decided to explore permanent disability benefits, and a family member recommended Nyman Turkish. The staff and attorneys we worked with were terrific. They paid attention to details, provided counsel throughout the process, and created realistic expectations. If you are looking for a law firm with a heart and have your best interest as a cornerstone of their business, contact Nyman Turkish. read more

It's been a long road for my husband. Prior to moving to Tampa in 2017, he had already been denied twice for Disability. We were referred to Nyman Turkish. We trusted the referral and went with it. Over the last few years they worked really hard on my husbands case. They pay attention to detail and they ensure that everything that is needed is a part of your case. I highly recommend them. Feel free to ask me questions. Trust is huge. And you will be able to trust them. read more

This place is the puppy mill of legal help. They give you no advice. I was with them for two years waiting for a hearing. They did not even assign a lawyer until my case was set for trial, 2 months before my hearing. I had a fit two weeks before my hearing so they actually let me talk to the attorney, who "liked my case". They only review the case before trial if there are red flags. My attorney was useless during the hearing. After my denial, I pulled my record: a full year of medical records was MISSING. How the hell does that happen? They didn't get my records???? Of course we lost. No surprise. read more

Regardless of an earlier critical review on the incompetence of Nyman Turkish PC, they did apologize. Briefly, their staff member had asked me for a list of my MEDS which I provided prior to Thanksgiving 2020. Their incompetence and delays in waiting on a list they already had was bad enough but I will give any dog or lawyer one mistake. However, the e-filing generated by them reflected inaccurate/false dates and other nonsense. Obviously, falsification of a government form is a Violation of US Code, but in this case - correcting their falsifications is more trouble than starting fresh. Nyman Turkish has been fired and since their wok product was flawed, my agreement to pay them their fee on my first check is null and void since I am obliterating their faux nonsense and refreshing the info. Their delay caused more than three months of loss of file date and benefits. Do Not trust them. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the applicable American, Virginia, Michigan and California Bar Associations. read more
