Terrible just terrible... only experienced their terrible tenant treatment. They just want to pocket application fees, I guess... applied for property and got approved within 24 hours, but they only gave me 24 hours to come up with deposit and all fees in 24hrs after texting me not calling me at 430pm on thursday. I had until 430 on Friday to take the certified funds to them, mind you I work and it was the Friday before 3 day holiday, which was impossible to do since I had to ACH funds from out of state bank. I tried to work with them and offered a holding deposit until Tuesday morning first thing ( I was going to run there during my lunch hour) They refused and pretty much said " too bad" even though they didn't have any other application or approval. I have excellent credit, no collections or evictions or criminal history. Later I chalked it up and decided it was their loss of an excellent tenant, even though I really liked the property. now looking at their rating, I'm not feeling as bad because obviously they are a terrible property management company. btw.. the property is still showing on Zillow after 2 weeks now. read more

HORRIBLE! This management took over the previous management for the home i'm currently renting. It has been a complete disaster. When calling this so called placed of business, they barely speak english - not a problem but makes you wonder because i asked a question and male stated "i don't understand" please email the department. than any question or concerns you may have they will respond with "email the department and they will get back with you" every possible question about anything has a department. No one there can answer one simple question! When they took over the previous management my balances were not rolled over correctly and still til this date do not match my ledger. They had the audacity to ask for a new deposit upon renewing my lease & their response was "so it can match my current leasing amount" mind you it still doesn't match even with my deposit! Someone make that make sense! I've had fraud charges made to my account the week rent was paid and they wasted no time sending me text messages, emails stating i have a due date to pay in full or legal actions will be taken. On top of that they now disabled the online payments and said i now i had to come in person to pay with a money order or check or go to one of their 3 party facilities to pay. I've been in this home for 8+ years always paid, never missed a payment. No courtesy nor compassion! The response i get is "As a property management company, we are required to remit payments to the property owners in advance. Rejected or failed payments across multiple properties pose a significant financial risk to our operations. Therefore, under the current circumstances, we can only accept payment via money order or cashier's check." Avoid this management company, i could go on and one about my experience with this company but they are wasted energy! I will not be renewing and sadly will be leaving when the time comes. If I could give NVWM Realty zero stars, I would. My experience with them has been nothing short of frustrating, and after reading other reviews, it's clear I'm not alone. Their mismanagement, lack of communication, and disregard for tenant rights have caused unnecessary stress and financial hardship. Despite paying rent on time and maintaining clear communication, NVWM Realty has issued two wrongful eviction notices, which we successfully overturned. They have failed to honor agreements, including a $600 emergency housing credit that was promised but never applied, leaving us to cover the cost of their negligence. Additionally, they refuse to remove unjust late fees, even though Nevada law (NRS 118A.380) protects tenants from being penalized when landlords fail to provide essential services--like air conditioning in the middle of summer. They REQUIRED me to be in the home to allow their repairmen in: of which they called 3 different companies, all of which told them that they needed to outright replace the AC unit. This meant that for 3 days, I was inside of a house while the weather was 100+ degrees. NVWM Realty refused to replace it, resulting in it breaking multiple times. So many of our indoor plants were lost to the heat - and this was LAST YEAR. We've also dealt with unresolved maintenance issues, including a broken shower door that has remained incomplete despite approval (in 2024), and an ongoing issue with Tesla solar panels that NVWM Realty has refused to facilitate access to, resulting in increased energy costs. The worst part? NVWM Realty's complete lack of communication and accountability. Countless emails have gone unanswered, and when they do respond, they pass the responsibility back and forth between departments, never actually resolving anything. Reading reviews from other tenants, it's discouraging to see that this level of incompetence is the norm for NVWM Realty. If you are considering renting a property under their management, think twice--because once issues arise, you will be left to fend for yourself. If NVWM Realty wants to salvage its reputation, it needs to start caring about its tenants, honoring commitments, and actually managing properties with professionalism. I moved in to a unit 01/02. Within a month of me being here my body broke out in a terrible rash and I began experiencing chest pains. I tested the air and it came back positive for mold. I informed management and asked them to break my lease and transfer me to a house they manage that is not mold infested. Management told me call my renters insurance and told me if I wanted to break my lease that I would need to pay fees. They sent someone out who sent them pictures of the mold that was visible and they still refused to work with me to remedy the situation by letting me transfer or leave.. I went to see a property under their management 1 month ago. It was beautiful and everything we were looking for. My partner and I applied...fast forward 1 month later we are good and set to move in. I went to pick up the keys and that same day I started to move in. When I got to the house I was absolutely shocked, heart broken and appalled. It was a DISASTER. Nothing was cleaned and it looked nothing like the house we saw originally. I will attach pictures but the oven was broken. The fridge didn't work. The microwave was DISGUSTING. The washing machine had water in it from god knows when! Along with numerous other issues. I would've NEVER applied for this house to begin with had the property looked like this when we first saw it. The worst part about all of this? We had everything completely packed in boxes and ready to move. This is on both the management group and the owners. The property should be cleaned and inspected prior to anyone moving in. Not to mention...the house is already back up for rent and you know these issues weren't fixed yet! This company is shady and incompetent at best. The "customer service" you receive will come in the form of clueless workers who do not know the answers to your questions, nor will they try to work with you in any way shape or form. We are military, and they asked us to wire the deposit ($3,000 by the way) for the house since we are in another state, and they still demanded that we would not sign a lease until we show up to get the keys. Don't rent from this company, I made the mistake and will forever regret it. If you have ANY issues with the house you're renting it's $65 each time for someone to come out. This is a management company, however they can't make "big" decisions like getting you a new appliance without the owners permission. Note that an owner can take days to respond to the request. If the management company gets annoyed with you, they will block your phone number. Fun fact, *67 will get you through... I just find that so crazy as I'm paying you for a service and you block me? They blame not fixing anything in the house on the owner saying that they denied this and that, well guess what we talked to the owner and she had NO IDEA about any of the problems we reported to NVWM over the years. I moved into my house recently and seen it but the house must of been shown after. Because when I paid and picked up my keys and got there things were broken it was dirty and they didn't even give me the correct key to my mailbox so still 5 weeks later I'm still driving to the post office. Appliances that were in the house were broken and did not work at all. Broken dishwasher, leaking fridge, broken garbage disposal. So I request to get my stuff fixed and they came out twice and still didn't fix the problem. Then when I contact them again they never got back to me to fix my issue and very unprofessional. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! If the house you're applying for is managed by this property management...RUN!! Upon turning in the application, the receptionist informed me that the house wouldn't be ready until 2 more weeks because there was more work to be done on the house. Here's where the nightmare happens...the house was given to me in WORSE condition than it was when I did the viewing. What the hell did they do within the 2 weeks they said they were "working" on it?? They didn't allow me to do a walk-through before hand so the day I received the keys, I hired a maintenance crew to inspect the place and everything was a disaster. There were water marks on the ceilings with clear evidence of water damage. I called the water company and they told me that they turned on my water, but locked the valve because the meter was running, so there was an active leak. The ceilings were also touched up with paint to try to cover the water damage. This active leak caused mold to be found in the house. The electrical outlets around the house were broken and one of them was even damaged by a fire. One of the bathrooms had a mirror shattered on the ground where it was suppose to be on the wall. The stove was unplugged upon moving in and when I had the gas company plug it back in, it started ticking and trying to ignite while the knobs were set to off. The garage door was not operable as well. The fireplace was not working. On top of that, the house was FILTHY upon moving in. Things were falling apart. There were holes in the doors due to the hinges they installed. We also signed the lease stating that the house would come with a washer and dryer, but it wasn't even provided on the day we got the keys to the house. Here's the best part, they DON'T hire licensed contractors!!! When demanding a licensed contractor to repair the things wrong in the house, their response was that they don't need a licensed contractor if it's a simple task. What constitutes it to be simple? These laws are put into place so things are done CORRECTLY. I refused to move into the house because the mold caused it to be a health hazard. I convinced them to let me sign off the lease because of the condition of the home that was given to me after I received the keys. After seeing the water damage on the ceilings and seeing that the outlet caught on fire, I knew I was gonna end up having to pay for other damages around the house as it falls apart because my property manager won't hire a reputable contractor. We tried to rent a property from this company. We found the lease had many issues in it. This included tenants being entirely responsible for things like their old sprinklers leaking or broken windows, even if caused by a natural disaster. There was a co-pay for repairs, something I'd never seen before. They also refused to do a walk through and only gave five days after lease signing to report anything broken. We told them we would not sign the lease without revisions and they instead refunded the deposit. At least that was quick, so that's worth a star. However, we lost the application fee and felt ripped off. It's a lesson learned the hard way. We'll never pay an application fee again without seeing the lease addendum first. We dodged a major bullet.. my spouse and I are in the process of moving out and wanted to apply to move into our first condo. After searching we stumbled across a condo managed by NVWM Realty and we loved the condo itself. It was a bit dirty but we just figured we would request to have it cleaned before moving in. We submitted our applications on Thursday, April 9th. I gave it the weekend to see if they would reach out to us in regards to the application, fast forward to Monday and nothing.. so I call them and I'm told that the application is still pending. About 2 hours later I get a text from the agency...? I was told that the owner would like to know if we could pay double deposit. I told them that unfortunately at this time we would only be able to pay the required and asking amount. The response I got was that they would inform the owner and get back to me. I waited a few hours and got nothing so the next day I reached back out. I was told that the owner now wanted to know if we could pay June's rent along with mays instead of the double deposit.. WHICH IS THE SAME THING AS DOUBLE DEPOSIT. I again told them that at this time with everything going on in the world right now we would only be able to pay the asking and required amount. We met every requirement they asked. No evictions, decent credit, made more than the required income, and have a really good rental history. It seems all this owner cared about was the money and because we couldn't pay double the asking amount they declined the application. Nothing else mattered. If I could put 0 starts, I would. We toured one of their properties and within the hour applied for the house. I let them know and sent in everything that was asked. The first day I didn't hear back from them at all so I texted and called, no response. Second day again texted and called to check on the status of my application, they answered the call but our relator Natalie was on the phone and said she will give us a call back. She never did. Mind you, we were in a time crunch to move and I let her know when I toured the house and I was reassured the process was fast. Third day comes around, I called right in the morning and again Natalie was on the phone and I asked the (I believe) receptionist if I could stay on hold to wait for her. I finally get to speak with Natalie and asked if I can know if my application was approved or not. She goes on to tell me the house is approved but it wasn't 100% sure because they need the another applicant to send the deposit. She proceeded to tell me to wait over the weekend and she would call me. At the point, I realized that they had another person moving in and I started to look for different options. Monday morning comes around and Natalie calls to see if I was still interest in the house, excited I said yes but told her I would need to know by today (Monday) if it is a certain yes or no. She agrees and tells me that today she will call me. It's a thrifty minutes before they close and no call back, so I call and Natalie is "on the phone" again. I ask the receptionist if she could please give me a call back before they close and she said, "I can not insure she call call you back before we close". Frustrated I said, "Thank you have a nice day" and hung up. A minute after Natalie calls me back, I ask for what the answer was and she said that there was not going to be answer answer today, that she was going to call me tomorrow. At that point it has been almost a week, with barley ANY communication, no answers, and false promises. I asked her if she could just tell me if it was a yes or a no, that's all. She proceeded to tell me that she will call the owner and would call me back. But again, no call back. Not once was there any kind of costumer service. Not only did I have to text and call them because they NEVER reached out to me, I never got an answer. They completely waisted my time and money. Their properties might be beautiful and for a good price but do not waist your time or energy with this company. Terrible company. I applied for a house at $1800 and it seemed like I was a prime applicant as they kept asking for more information. I even had a pristine letter of recommendation from my previous landlord of six years. The house was then taken off of their website but was still listed under my realtors listings. They changed the price to $1900 without letting me know. Apparently someone supposedly offered more. They should have listed the house at $2000 and then lowered it if they were not getting applications. They then asked me if I would be willing to pay $1900 and I stated that I would get back to them but screw that! Don't list a house lower than you want to rent it for. Basically just wasted $100 of my money with these people. I've never dealt with a property management company before. Should have come here to read the reviews prior to applying. You guys aren't lying UGH! Do not recommend this company, all of the good reviews are from Chinese homeowners and they rent out with NVWM. They are all shady. To start off, I've been dealing with this company for two years. At first I thought this company was not bad, because in reality I do not personally deal with them on a daily basis, but when something that is out of the renters hands that goes wrong be prepared for the long haul. For a quick example, my first phone call to the company during the year was when they do a lack of a walk through of the home themselves and claim everything was fine with the home when in fact their were numerous items I observed, wrote down, took pictures of, and video as proof of what was wrong with the home before coming in. The main water line to the home was busted and wasting large amounts of water and the pressure built up and busted the pipe inside the home causing water to seep through the ceiling of the garage. It took the company a week to get someone to finally come out and repair it. The company itself is not the owner of the home, but simply responsible for getting the owner to understand the problems. They had during the week 4 companies come out off of Craig's list which is not the best solution, because no one knows who these people are and some aren't even licensed or contracted to do the work. Not just are they cheap on getting the lowest bidder and arguing over price, but not being racist or discriminative here, but when I called the Office and gave the home address and my name and phone number, the woman would have broken English and request I say it again slower, I have no issue with doing this, but I did 4 times. Then during my year at times when I needed service done or towards the end of my lease I was needing to speak with a manager, because I was in the process of closing on a home and I needed a manager to go over everything with at the property before leaving or if I needed more time, because of the waiting process to sign my documents to close. Guess what the woman whoever she is beyond unprofessional and refuses to allow you to speak to a manager. I lefty my phone number 5 times within a 3 day period and she wants to be the manager and be involved when she is not the manager. I requested once more to speak to the manager and gave my full name again and phone number making it the 6th time and once more she the secretary would ask me for the address and what it is in regards to and again broken English lack of understanding and refusing to allow me to speak to a manager. Very unprofessional company all the front desk secretary does is want to be in your business when all she should be doing is answering the phone and allowing a renter who pays rent to speak to whom ever it is I need to speak to. The woman was very rude and again way beyond unprofessional with her broken English and definitely didn't understand anything I was requesting. I tried several times at first in the beginning to explain everything to her to see if maybe she knew what I could do or who I needed to speak with, but she was never understanding anything I was saying and pissed me off enough to hang up and during the past month still no manager. I would highly suggest going to a real company or business who listens, understands, and when requested upon speaking with manager allows you to do, so. This company in my opinion and dealing with them for two years, I rate them 1! When I say broken English I mean it. Also when you email them once more lack of responding on time and having numerous emails as proof of requesting to speak with a manager in regards to my current situation and refusing it goes to show how unprofessional they are. The only person who I considered to be worth speaking with was Pionee she clearly understood me when I dealt with her and she was the only one who actually did her job. As far as everyone else answering the phone, no common sense and lack of communication ability! If you do use this company be prepared for cheap labor if something goes wrong with the home and possibly having some random person from Craig's List come to your home.
