There seems to be at least one artisanal ice cream shop for every street block in the center of…read moreMalaga! Unfortunately, our stay here was not long enough to sample all of therm while hoping to stay alive!
This one, in a little pedestrian area not very far from the Picasso museum (Malaga is the birth place of the artist), got our attention and we could not be here without trying the famous "Malaga" flavour.
We usually associate the "Malaga" ice cream flavour with "rum and raisin" but apparently, this is not quite authentic. The real one is made a a sweet wine from Malaga and a local variety of raisin. It is not surprising that we can only get the real one here since it is not easy to find the authentic ingredients elsewhere.
And indeed, this is an experience that worth the trip in itself... okay, I wouldn't go so far, but it is quite good and you should try it when you come to Malaga... and you should! This is one of my favorite cities!
