This is the nicest hospital I've ever entered! It is modern, spacious, beautiful and so well…read moredesigned. I was told we were going to a really nice hospital, and this was no underestimation.
It was kind of difficult to find the correct elevator to take us to our floor, but when we made it to the right place, we encountered a long counter with many stations of people ready to check us in.
The children's waiting area has huge glass windows with a beautiful view of the city, funky colorful lounge seating, a fish tank with fish in it and child-sized colorful tables and chairs. There was also crayons and coloring pages readily available to use in this open, spacious waiting room.
Our pediatrician's office was huge, with a giant windows looking out on the city and mountains. Otherwise there was nothing to really indicate that this space was kid-friendly, and I would have appreciated some toys/books or just about anything to occupy my children while the pediatrician explained everything to us. However, she was reassuring, kind and knowledgeable.
We then headed to a different floor for testing. In heading to this floor, we passed huge interior outdoor courtyards of plants, giant water fountains and decorative pools with sculptures poking out. I only saw a portion of the hospital, but nearly every turn we took was pleasing to the eye.
The parking garage we parked in was almost entirely designated for people with handicapped tags, pregnant women, and those with children under 8 years old. What a convenient idea!
