Meahhh on Porterville…read more I Like Planet Fitness as a Whole. I travel for work, so I see a lot of different PF's. This one was really dirty a couple months ago and not near as crowded at peak times. Now it is cleaner, but forget about working out from 5:00-9:00 pm during the week. Especially on free weights, bench press / squat rack & the chest and back fly machine is taken for hours every time I walk in there as well.. They Seriously need to quadruple certain machines that are never available & maybe get rid of the 100 bikes that no one rides. LOL Also, there are way too many high school kids hanging around in the locker room playing on their phones , or setting on machines, not working out. It is also annoying that this location is not 24 hr and they start turning out the lights at 8:30 pm to close by 9:00 on the weekends. On a positive note, the Staff has been great and have really stepped it up on cleanliness, I feel.. No more hair balls behind the doors in the tanning rooms.

My main instructors are Nadia, Faith, Jillian and Layne. All of them are amazing in their own way. Nadia was the instructor for my first Pilates class ever and she couldn't have done a better job at making me feel welcome in class. When I went to pick up my daughter she was crying uncontrollably & I was then told that another child had struck my daughter across the face leaving her with a scratch on right across the face for a week. No one called me and let me know, she was inconsolable when I went to get her. Other times when she has been upset they come and get me from the class to calm her down. Not this time. Thats the last time I'm taking her here.
