I was treated in this clinic for several years, often 5 or 6 times each year. On almost every visit the OHIP limit of three biopsies or scrapings was done. On the rare occasions where appointments were 6 mo. apart, the build up of damaged areas was so extreme, multiple and extreme treatments were necessary to deal with the damage. During these visits, I have experienced treatments where freezing injections from a multi-dose container were repeated with the same syringe, making me wonder about contamination from other patients. I have experienced preliminary examinations by nursing staff where my answers to probing questions were cut off and passed over such that the information passed on to the Doctor was incomplete, lacking, and wrong. I have had sessions where the biopsies were to be followed by liquid nitrogen treatments to specific areas and after the biopsies, I was dismissed and sent on my way. On one of my last visits, the examination table in the room was covered with masses of skin that had been scrapped off a previous patient. Similarly, the floor surrounding the examination table was covered with similar scrappings. (Photos attached). Two different nurses asked me to get onto the examination table for three biopsies to be performed. When I explained that I at least wanted the examination table wiped down before those procedures, the biopsies were done on a chair in the same room. No sense of importance to having a sterile environment. After my last appointment, I was given an appointment for a future date, as my condition dictated further treatment was necessary. Before that appointment occurred, I received a call from Dr. Loo giving me the results of the biopsy and 5 minutes later a second call from the receptionist informing me that I was discharged from the clinic and my future appointment was cancelled. A surprising action since there was no appointment where the areas being treated had been identified as being clear. In fact discussions had occurred suggesting when the spring weather arrived, I would be scheduled for a PDT therapy session. I am amazed the Department of Health has not had concerns about this operation. I am guessing that since my condition just required treatment and not the purchase of expensive cosmetic treatments, they were not interested in having me as a patient.

The thing is, at Euro Reflections it's $20 (plus tip and tax) to wax once a month or $40 (plus tip and tax) to go bi-monthly - so I chose to try laser. I chose to try just my underarms. Tania is very efficient and answers all of my questions. The procedure only takes 15 minutes and does not hurt (you may feel a slight tingling). At first I had my doubts, but now after three sessions I see a noticeable difference. I learned that different laser hair removal machines work for different people, pop in and ask them before committing to anything. Tania will tell you right away if you're a good candidate or not. Tip: You have to shave the area you are about to laser the day of to ensure the laser doesn't burn your skin!

I could feel the hair being plucked and I was right it was being plucked because it came back within a week. This place is also overpriced. They charged me over $60 for a 40 minute session. I usually pay $35 (including taxes) for a 30 minute session with my usual electrologist and there is another lady in London who charges $40 for a 30 minute session. Overpriced yet didn't do the work properly. Definitely wouldn't recommend for electrolysis.

I left in a lot of pain. To the point where it was questionable if this pain was a normal side affect or common after this procedure. I had burn marks on my back and lower abdomen and my stretch marks around my waist were all burnt. I went to a pharmacist that night and waited it out till the next morning. The next morning I rushed to ER emerge and found out she didn't check the skin sensitivity around my stretch marks considering its a lighter colour compared to the rest of my skin and I know have bruising and scaring all around my lower back and lower abdomen area. When contacting her sending her pictures of my burns and scaring her response was "I didn't think you would have stretch marks around that area for your age" (I'm 19) which is completely normal. She then agreed to give me half of my money back and to complete my laser session with full attention and care. I then get a text later in the week that I'm only getting refunded for my lower abdomen area and she had completely terminated my membership. NOT only do I have to still deal and recover from the burns all over my skin but I don't even get my moneys worth back and my member ship with them is now terminated even when she said she would finish the job. Regardless I would NEVER go back to them considering how delicate the skin is and how cautious you need to be with your skin and they have no idea what they are doing.
