Horrible experience…read more We made a reservation interior terrace for 3:30p. We arrived at 3:15p. Checking in was more akin to trying to get service at a busy butcher shop without a number. Staff were running from one end to the other. Hostess told us to go outside and find a table. All tables (2) were standing in puddled water. We thought about going back in and complaining. The staff greetings and engagement showcased the heavy investment and how seriously they have been running this restaurant for a long time. Yes, service was next level. We were a party of six and three different servers attended our table. Also, The chef came out to check on us after we finished eating. Menu is very diverse. I ordered 4 main dishes to split with my wife since the prices were pretty good compared to the states and the place inspired me to try it all. We went with the Deer Loin, the Duck Magret, the Suckling Lamb Chops and the best which was the main Suckling Lamb(Lechazo). It was awesome!!! I left it for last because I knew it was the best. For my luck, my wife was super full and kept looking at me in disgust cause I kept devouring the Lechazo by myself like there was no tomorrow. She kept asking me if I wasn't full, while I kept forking those nice pieces of tender & tasty meat together with the crispy skin and wetting it in its own sauce before my bite. I truly enjoyed it. I wasn't too thrilled about the duck and deer although they were good dishes with delicious creams and sauces I wouldn't order again knowing I can have their Lechazo or Carrillera. Other notable dishes: the pumpkin soup was surprisingly nice. I didn't want to waste stomach space on the salad my wife ordered but the red and dark Cecina cuts(cow ham) looked amazing and my wife kept making joyful faces while eating so I tried it and it was pretty good. My father in law gave some of his garbanzos beans. He had asked the server to remove the octopus which I thought it was a crime, but still was very nicely done. As you can see in the pics, the server is pouring nice amounts of extra virgen spaniard olive oil and paprika. My in laws had the cod & salmon and they spoke well of their dishes. We were the last to leave the restaurant since I really wanted to try almost everything and that gave me time to take my kids to the bath. I was impressed to see they have more than 5 private toilet areas with to sinks in the middle very well designed. Luckily for me and other families they have a big room with changing stations. The place is very close to the Gaudí Palace and other attractions. I had a great experience and I highly recommend this place. Keep in mind all restaurants close their kitchen at 4:00pm for a few hours.

Yes, you can walk up here from Cangas de Onis (Puente Romano), but it's uphill, so spring the 7€ for a cab to take you up. I do suggest the walk down back to Cangas, because it'sBEAUTIFUL as well as will help you digest!!. Ok, the food. We literally come here every day they are open, (we have stayed in that tiny town or Cangas) because not only is the regular menu amazing with multiple choices of traditional Asturian cooking, the chef is beyond talented and creative and has infused his talent into woks, sushi, and other specials, which may only be available THAT day. (I suggest you follow on Instagram or Facebook). Wine selection is above par - they have all ranges to fit your price range, and every bottle, including the least expensive is amazing. The sommelier knows exactly what she's doing - and compliments each dish her brother and mother (chefs) do. This family place is just incredible. If they have a seafood special get it, but also, make sure you come back again for the chuletón. They show you what it looks like before, and then grill it to perfection.. My mouth is watering as I type this.. Been a loyal client for 10 years - and will continue to return every time we're in Asturias.
