I went in with husband and his friend for a manicure and pedicure. When it came time for my manicure, I asked for one nail to be dipped as I have a split in the nail going from the end of the nail down into the bed of the nail. The Asian women argued with me against having it dipped and that if they cut it it would be fine. She used the nail clippers and it is very short and the split is still there. She used the nail clippers and cut ALL of my nails straight across and barely filed them. I had acrylic nails for over 20 years many years ago and am used to salons. This (these) women never asked if I wanted square nails or rounded. They acted like they were in a hurry and as I was the last of the 3 of us, was an inconvenience. Best nail salon in town! Jonathan does amazing nails. I'm obsessed with mine! We arrived around rush hour (5:30) and got manis and pedis at 7:00. Totally worth the wait! Jonathan is fast but SO good and friendly. Highly recommend. can't wait to come back! read more

I've come here over a 4-5 year period when n town. Maybe ownership has changed. Doesn't seem the same. Chairs look broken down, no pillow on mine-sounds unnecessary but it leaves a huge hollow space behind ur back. Floor dirty. Tech was rough & cut me then said nothing. Yikes, never had that happen. There was some confusion over price. Higher price than what I was given to choose from. ??? Unsure how that works when u show me a menu of services with prices but quote a higher price. The tech I had never shut up so very hard to relax. May just wait next time & go to my regular salon. Not revisit. I don't recommend. read more

Worst place ever to get nails. I only went in for a nail repair (dip) and the guy did an incredibly horrible job. He cut my nail (it didn't need it nor did he ask) dipped nail and did not buff or clean nail. Left a huge chunk of crap on my nail and put a shine. Worst job ever. This is probably the most popular nail salon in Brownwood. The hostess is fantastic and they have several very good nail techs. The problem I had was inconsistent pricing for services rendered and poor quality nails more than once. One time nail polish that was so thick that even though the nails were done earlier in the day, my sheets left marks. Another time, using shellac instead of regular polish, the tech used the wrong color, even after I said it was not the color I had chosen. No price reduction for their mistakes. My experience was OK. The person who did my pedicure was rushing and wasn't very gentle. In fact, the person cut my toe and then denied it. (Excuse me, but you're the only who has touched my feet all day, so of course you cut it.) This person also stuck headphones in while doing my nails and complained about their personal life. I came into the salon hoping to have a relaxing morning, and this was not the case. The other person who did my solar nails did a pretty good job. If they put the wrong color on you. Get ready for them to be mad at you! The only one to go to is Samantha. My girl only spoke in Vietnamese a lot! I told her my shellac number from the table that the man at the door told me to choose from and she began to work on my feet. I closed my eyes? And when I open ethem I had the wrong color on one foot, and part of the next foot. I said oh no that is not right. She got furious and not nice. I explained, and she was still ugly and. Not happy! I have gone there a lot, every time I am in Brownwood. Samantha is the only one that is worth waiting for. I will never be there again! Others have also had trouble with his lady. Such a shame!
