'Ello chaps! Lights! Camera! Action! This tour gives you the chance to wander the halls of NRK's…read morevarious buildings on their campus, each focused on radio production, television production, and other series. NRK is Norway's public broadcaster. The tour is often offered on weekends only and cost approximately $10 USD. Notice the weekend tours, meaning while you'll see various studios, you will not see actual production work happening during the tour. NOTE: The tours are conducted ENTIRELY in Norwegian language, so unless you have some understanding of the field, then it may be difficult for you to comprehend what is going on. As an English speaking tourist, I had no problem getting the jist of the tour, which including a radio Foley studio (where technicians make audio sounds), a large television sound stage, and a scene shop where woodwork for upcoming productions were on full display. The tour also includes a good look at NRK's history, while keeping it all interesting. The tours are limited to 20 to 30 people and included a good mix of small children to adults of all ages. The only downside is I wish there was a gift shop of some kind. Overall I give NRK Tour five stars out of five stars.
