Very unprofessional. Made a massage appointment with them. They sent me a text to confirm the…read moreappointment the day before, which I did. Then called later that day to cancel the appointment. Then called back 30 minutes later to offer to honor the appointment they had just canceled 30 minutes earlier.

I'm not one to give bad ratings. However in this case I had no choice. My wife purchased a Groupon…read morefor both of us for this location for Valentines Day. It's been a good bit since I've had a massage so I was excited to go. I arrived about 15 minutes before my scheduled massage at Noon. I was taken back at right about Noon by my therapist Katharine. I explained to her that my lower back and shoulders were the main problem areas. Admittedly my back is a mess of knots and when it's been this long I fully expect multiple massages before my issues are fixed. Katharine started on my shoulders with fairly light pressure. The massage was very inconsistent. She would massage for a minute or two before switching to the other side of my back. This was strange to me as every massage I've ever had was very consistent working one side of the body before switching sides. She would say "oh I think I aggravated that side" before moving to the other side again but never coming back to the "aggravated" area. This was how she conducted the entire massage. Never focusing on an area for more than a minute or two at most. She never massaged my feet, chest, hands or upper shoulder and neck area. For the last two days since the massage I've developed cramps in the areas she attempted to massage causing me to be even tighter than before the massage. It's also caused me to develop pain behind my lung area anytime I sneeze or cough. I understand every therapist has a little different routine but Katharine stated she had only been licensed for 2 months and it was obvious she did not have the proper training. It's extremely disappointing to go into a massage hoping for relief only to have more issues after. On top of all of this we paid for a 60 minute massage. My massage began at 12:05 and ended at 12:55 when she stated my time was up. Overall this was a very disappointing experience. I hope this review leads to additional training for this therapist.
