Awesome hotel in Munich. We stayed here for several days at the end of June. Made this booking state-side, chose it based on the pool as the kids wanted the option of swimming. The pool was European-style, meaning the room is heated but the pool is not. This was a huge disappointment for our American kiddos, as they are accustomed to hotel pools that are heated. The beds were comfortable and we are a family of 4 and had plenty of room, especially compared to other European hotels. The toilet was in a separate area from the shower, which made it easier for us to get ready. The mirrors were great and the bathroom was well lit. The flat screen tv was easy for all to view and enjoy. There was a tv speaker in the shower area so you could hear the tv in the bathroom while you showered! The bathtub is tiny, European style. The hotel gym was fantastic. The drinking water at the gym was a great place to fill up water bottles, but the water tasted odd to us. There is a place for relaxing and yoga by the pool area and there's a spot for sunbathing. The hotel lobby is clean and there's a kid-area to play games or build blocks. The restaurant near the lobby is lively and offers decent food, but it is pricy. The breakfast Buffet is one of the best we had at any hotel and for Europe it was top-notch!!! Worth it! The location of this hotel to downtown Munich is a quick 10-20 minute walk. Super convenient, yet it was secluded and quiet. Around the corner there's restaurants and bars, the hotel lobby bar was fun to watch the World Cup Soccer games too. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. Clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, decent room, black-out curtains, and fairly comfy beds. I'd recommend for sure! Especially for families traveling. read more
