Medicaid has even called them on 3 way and asked for a complaint number for the way they talked to the medicaid rep on the phone. Now they send me to collections when I HAVE INSURANCE THAT PAYS THE BILL, they just cant seem to figure out how to do their part right.

I am a type 2 diabetes and they would skip then A1C test and don't care and am suppose to be checked by them every 3 months. They became nothing more then a meat market collecting money and they over charge for everything.. They don't follow the Medicare rules at all. Most people don't know that in order for the Doctor to charge Medicare they have to spend a amount of time deemed by Medicare but they don't they rush you out after making you wait way past your appointment time. Which is against the rule of Medicare. If you are on Medicare file a complaint against them. I would say stay away from Kernersville Family Practice you will never get good care at this terrible place!!

At first, we were greeted and given several forms to fill out. Before I finished filling out the first page, a nurse called on us to follow her back into the office. She was pleasant and provided us with a comfortable welcome. She assured me not to feel the need to rush in filling out the forms. After her assessment of my son, Dr. Chow entered the exam room and was just as friendly as the nurse. He engaged us both in conversation and questions. Not to mention, he was very patient in filling out the 2-page form that I brought in for him to fill out on behalf of my son. He gave my son a thorough exam and asked me to contact his office to make a future appointment for my son's yearly physical. In all, I would recommend this practice for anyone with similar needs.

Waited 5 hours to get out of the waiting room, then another 5 hours to be told there was no problem, take some antibiotics and call your normal doctor, who is in Ohio. They flushed me with about 400ml of saline, hardly any came out, but they didn't know where the rest went, even after a CT scan. Very disappointed in Novant. My Doctors in Ohio are all Cleveland Clinic and they are persistant until your problem is solved.

Before they can get my wife in a bed an ER attendant is already entering the room asking for debit card. She tells me there was a $200 copay. When I get the receipt I notice I was charged $800 - when I asked why the difference the ER attendant goes absolutely nuts, screaming and acting aggressively towards me, yelling out loud that she "knew how to do her job" and if I didn't like it I could take my "so-called" sick wife elsewhere.. Yes, she actually said "so-called". Two other female ER staffers behind the desk thought it was funny and sat there laughing out loud. The one saving grace here was that those working in actual ER were grown adults capable of acting professionally. You will never find me visiting said facility again. Considering I had to go to the emergency room for a kidney stone, my experience here was very good…read more By the time I arrived at the ER, the worst of the stone passing (from my kidney to bladder) was over. They signed me in quickly, got me to a room and had me on an IV to rehydrate within an hour. Since I had a kidney stone before, I know what to expect and the medical staff was very pleasant and thorough. After the scan, they wrote up a couple scripts and I was on my way in less than 3 hours... and fully passed the stone a couple days later. They had everything processed through my insurance and have an to pay the deductible interest free through their app. The app was also great for receiving my test results before the doctor or nurse even made it back to the room to inform me. In the future, if I'm back in Winston Salem and need medical attention, I know I will be in good hands here.
