I didn't read anything in advance about the class, but now I see on the website that it does say that the classes can be filmed by participants and that the business will also film parts of the class. That made it harder for me to relax and enjoy the class as I felt I was dodging cameras, as I don't want to have video of me online or photos used promotionaly. So I just sat down to avoid that. The dance studio was hard to find. It's in what feels like an industrial park, you have to drive around a bit to locate it. So it's not in a fun area where there are other places to visit afterwards. The space is nice, clean, large. There are packaged snacks and soda for purchase, and you can BYO alcohol, if you wish. And you can buy a souvenir t-shirt. If you provide a 5-star review and show proof on your phone to them before you leave, they will give you a free souvenir t-shirt. I don't like when businesses ask specifically for a "5 star" review versus "Yelp us if you wish" kind of thing. I'll give this experience 4 stars. Danielle was a great teacher. Very high energy and engaging with the participants. I learned 3 types of Line Dances.

Very friendly people with great teachers and lots of fun dance classes. Most the classes are a more…read moreadvanced level , but they also have beginner classes. Even the beginner classes tend to be a little quicker and more challenging for someone who has never danced before, but you won't feel out of place because the teachers and students are very non-judgmental and very willing to work with you and answer any questions. I think anyone should try it and just know that you can ask questions and just do your best and have fun! I also have made a lot of friends at the studio in just a few short weeks. I've taken about 15 classes of the 20 I purchased and I have not met a single person I don't like. There is a huge diverse group of people here just like there is a diverse number of dance styles. Literally the only downside is it's a little hard as a beginner to get started because people start here and progress quickly so depending on when you join you may feel like you are behind the others. But that is actually a great sign because people don't just come for one class and never again, they come and stay because it's so awesome! Also all the front desk staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Everytime I come there is someone new at the front desk and they treat me with respect and kindness. There is only one bad review on Yelp and it's from someone who never even went to the studio! (Also note they have 0 other reviews, no followers and that's sketch) They said they tried to sign up online and something went ary, so I would just recommend signing up with MINDBODY and read the site before you purchase. No offense to the reviewer, but it's really not that hard. Not sure what they were confused about, but if it's confusing maybe call first! Whenever I have called someone answers and is super helpful! I paid for a new member discount that was 20 classes for $175. That so far has been an amazing deal! Here are some pictures from some of my favorite classes!

The best of the best will be training you here. They have a pre professional training program, and offer classes from toddler age to seniors. It is also affordable! There is great energy, a clean facility, and a name that is known around the world by the common person and celebrities alike. We have two children attending currently and they absolutely love it. If youre looking for a place to take your dancing to the next level or just a place to have fun and learn.... then look no further. Im highly impressed. For those with children and teens, you can watch practice on tv from the waiting area. This program/facility is impressive, and should do wonderful in music city.

Milele Academy is located in the Next Level Fitness building entrance but on the right side. This two level space offers a plethora of classes from ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and many more that is suited for every dance and fitness level. Check their websites: http://www.mileleacademy.com https://www.instagram.com/mileleacademy/?hl=en for available class times, prices, and instructional videos. I love the design of the studio! First level has a large dance floor with mirrors, disco balls, a flat screen tv that played hip hop videos, lounging areas, and stage/platform that display several trophies. The second floor has a balcony that overlooks the first floor with a comfortable seating area, ballet room, and two gender neutral restrooms. They may have more but that is all I could see without opening doors or being too nosey. Overall it is a clean and comfortable environment. Parking on Church Street can be challenging at times. Luckily their are parking options: -There are a few spots in front of the Fitness Level-Milele Academy building, -Free street meter parking after 6pm, and -Free parking in the Metro Medical parking lot. Overall I enjoyed my experience and highly recommend Milele Academy to anyone who loves to dance and/or has a desire to learn professional choreography.
