The airline operates Airbus aircraft, which makes sense since Toulouse is the location of Airbus headquarters. Like Ryanair and other low-cost carriers, you pay extra for everything. I had to check a bag and the bag fee was reasonable. I do appreciate the explicitness of their fees as the biggest turnoff is getting ripped off. In Marrakesh, passengers board the plane on the tarmac. Seating onboard is on the tighter side, which is acceptable for a 2 hour flight like this one. They don't provide any complimentary snacks or drinks, but they do have an in-flight menu available. The flight was fine and uneventful. There was no IFE or entertainment available, but I had a window seat to view the Moroccan desert and the Pyrenees that we were flying over. Overall, I enjoyed my flight on EasyJet and would consider flying them on a flight in Europe.

Similar to other European low-cost carriers, they offer flights on underserved routes. The airline has sizable operations at Toulouse, but most of the cities served are seasonal. Booked a domestic French flight on Volotea. The price was similar to easyJet which flies the same route, but I decided to give this airline a try. I got to the airport early and had to wait a bit for the check-in counter to open. While their base fares are cheap, checking a bag on Volotea is quite expensive. It was more economical to upgrade which allowed me to choose a seat at the front of the plane and offered a snack or drink. In addition, I was one of the first to board. The flight was very short as it was only an hour long. Flight service was minimal as a result. For my drink, I opted for some Nescafe. Sitting in the front, there was room to stretch my feet, which was nice. Otherwise, the flight was uneventful. Based on my experience, flying on Volotea was fine, but I would opt to take easyJet next time given the checked bag expense paired with the shortness of the flight.
