But the cherry on the icing of the Bonton cake is really the hair salon in the back of the shop. Replete with sparkly lights, colorful seating, a blackboard table top for kids to color on, tons of children's books and ridiculously friendly staff, it's everything you could ever wish a kids' hair salon to be. It's a reasonable 15E for a kids cut, so it was an obvious choice when we finally decided to treat our kid to his first "real" haricut (had you seen the previous homemade cuts you would convict us for having not sent him sooner).. Not only was the cut super sharp and fantastic, but the experience top notch. Coralie, our hairdresser, entertained her little client with little coos, clever distractions and lots of positive messaging (aka, oh boy, the girls are going to go nuts when they see how cute you look with this cut..). But I had to run it by the kid to get his stylistic OK, and that's when I realized how special this place really is. The daughter of this mother-daughter owned shop offered to help me FaceTime with my son by holding up my phone for me to try the bag on for him. Walking around me and getting the right angles and such. Now that's service! I'll be back for other purchases for sure, especially since they also carry the great shelving brand Rose in April thats perfect for kids' rooms.

En étant à Manhattan hier mardi 26 décembre 2023,…read moreet en parcourant la ville, j'ai "découvert" la somptueuse et très élégante boutique Bonpoint située sur Madison avenue. La vitrine était à couper le souffle et je dois admettre que je n'avais jamais entendu parler d'une boutique aussi époustouflante auparavant. Pourquoi? En termes simples, un tel magasin est situé dans un quartier haut de gamme et j'avoue que je me lance rarement dans un tel quartier. Honte à moi de ne pas y être allé avant. Ne connaissant pas les magasins Bonpoint, j'ai certainement raté l'occasion de découvrir ce magasin et d'admirer les plus beaux vêtements confectionnés pour les enfants, les nouveau-nés et tout ce qui se trouve entre les deux. J'ai été particulièrement "attiré" par la magnifique présentation de la vitrine, et j'étais littéralement en extase devant la manière dont une telle présentation était réalisée. Mais ce qui a retenu mon attention au plus haut niveau, c'est une magnifique peluche léopard des neiges en plein centre de l'exposition. Il n'est pas nécessaire de préciser que je suis immédiatement entré dans le magasin et que j'ai posé des questions. J'ai également déambulé dans le magasin afin d'admirer son contenu. À ma plus grande déception, on m'a dit que cet animal en peluche n'était pas à vendre et était destiné uniquement à être exposé. Cependant, je me suis "senti" ignorée par les deux vendeuses présentes dans la boutique, au point que j'estime qu'elles s'en fichent complètement de ma présence ou non. Le soit disant acceuil reçu a été "froid", elles ont répondu à mes questions avec une certaine nonchalance et affichant un non intérêt pour ma personne. Il est évident que j'ai peut-être été " catalogué " pour des raisons que je n'arrive pas à comprendre, que peut-être je ne serai pas un " acheteur " d'une manière ou d'une autre ? C'est l'impression que j'ai eue de ces deux vendeuses. Peu importe si quelqu'un effectuait un achat ou non, leur attitude restait à désirer. Il y avait une personne assise au fond de la boutique qui m'a demandé si j'étais française ? J'ai gentiment répondu oui et nous avons eu une brève conversation. Mais en revenant sur ces deux vendeuses j'ai été attristé de connaître et de vivre leur accueil. Revenons à cette merveilleuse peluche léopard des neiges : il me fallait l'avoir, quoi qu'il arrive ! J'ai décidé d'appeler le magasin phare de Paris et cet appel a été suivi par Monsieur Reni. Quelle différence dans la façon dont j'ai été reçu et traité ! La classe et le chic français au plus haut niveau, une politesse au sommet où les Français sont réputés. M. Reni a gentiment répondu à toutes mes questions concernant cet animal en peluche. À ma plus grande déception en écoutant mes nombreuses questions, il m'a affirmé qu'il savait aussi de quoi je parlais, sachant que cette peluche est également exposée à la boutique ! Il a également expliqué comment le magasin en est originaire. J'ai demandé s'il y avait un moyen de prendre des photos et de les envoyer à mon adresse e-mail personnelle ? Non seulement M. Reni a pris plusieurs photos, mais il s'est littéralement surpassé pour le faire pour moi ! Ah ! La classe des français en pleine démonstration lorsqu'il s'agit d'aider n'importe qui. Il ajoute même que si par hasard j'ai l'occasion de visiter la boutique rue Montaigne, je ne serai certainement pas traité comme je l'ai été à la boutique new-yorkaise ! Je ne peux qu'adresser mes sincères et plus profondes remerciements à M. Reni pour avoir voulu répondre à une telle demande. Ces deux vendeuses de New York devraient être envoyées en France pour un stage d'apprentissage et de savoir-faire de la cupidité afin d'apprendre à bien saluer quiconque car il y a des manques de respect dans le sérieux. Il est évident que leur éducation a fait défaut à certains égards ! Merci encore M. Reni d'avoir pris le temps de prendre en photo cette majestueuse peluche pour moi !
