I agree with other reviewers who commended the programs available through Notary Classes.com. I took the initial certification training, as well as the Loan Signing Class and Hands-on Workshop. I strongly recommend spending time to study the class materials provided before attending the live classes. I had done a little studying but wished I had done more because there is a LOT of information to absorb in a 6-hour class. Even without it, I passed the exam given by the State and received my commission, and also passed the Loan Signing specialist exam with a score of 94%. The instructors (Daniel Jones and Angela Frame) are highly experienced, super-knowledgeable and engaging, and both went above and beyond to answer questions after class. There are a lot of little details to follow through to complete your commission, get your bond and E&O insurance, have seals made, get an ID badge, etc. It is not a quick process, as it takes a couple of months to get every step completed. I appreciate having all those resources in one place, and getting step-by-step instructions to guide me through the process. I took the 3 hour Notary Workshop and this is absolutely "one of a kind" workshop that you will NOT find anywhere else. In fact State of CA should mandate this class once passed and commissioned.
