I love Genesee Theater!…read more This smaller vintage theater has charm and elegance inside and out. The large chandeliers are gorgeous. The staff scanning tickets and the ushers are warm and welcoming. They were very helpful. All seats offer a great view. The first two rows cause you to loop up at the stage so I would recommend at least a few isles back. The shows they offer are diverse and plentiful. The more popular shows create a bit of traffic. There is street parking and a nearby parking garage.

Parking couldn't be easier -- affordable parking is located literally about 50 feet from the entrance and it's only $10, which makes the whole experience even better. We paid under $100 for two Orchestra Row T seats, and since our row was empty, we moved to the middle for a better view. The show featured a full orchestra, lead singer David Jacobson, and two female vocalists. The first half highlighted Neil's softer songs, while the second half brought the energy with his bigger hits. For the price, it was a fun and enjoyable evening. We now attend at least 3 -4 events per year here!

Cindy the event coordinator that started in January 2016 was great! We were disappointed that one of our vendors told us about the staff change at the Kemper Center and that Allison was no longer there as of November 2015. As the bride, I did not hear directly from anyone at the Kemper Center about the staff change. As a professional courtesy, at the very least they would reach out to their clients that have events booked when there is a staff change, but they didn't. Lucky for the "powers that be" Cindy is wonderful and wow'd us! She is super friendly and knowledgeable about weddings and events and all around great to work with. From the first phone call to the goodbye hug at 11:45pm on the night of our reception Cindy was so helpful, professional, accommodating and amazing. She went above and beyond with helping us with the plans for our reception. Cindy explained everything and made sure we understood all our options for drinks and liquor services. The day/night of the event the entire staff was incredible and the venue was clean and perfectly set up! The staff was super efficient and effective! The AC was cranking out and everyone had an amazing time!! The entire staff at the Kemper Center was amazing as well. James was particularly helpful and definitely provided extraordinary customer service at the reception. He went above and beyond in terms of service and all around was simply great! The grounds were lovely and it was a picture perfect day to take lots of photos. We loved every moment. The only slight disappointment was the fountain was not on so we didn't take any pictures around it otherwise it was a splendid day that we will cherish for many years to come!!!

When it came to the event the hosts were extremely kind and so helpful when needed. They are quite pricey, but worth it. They were accommodating when and where possible. I do recommend them for future events to those who are looking.

The weather was very warm..would like to see a "covered" seating area for eating and band listening next year. Also, I would like to see more representation by craft breweries.

There is a main gallery with a couple dozen dinosaur skeleton casts (no real fossils), the main point of which is to illustrate therapod evolution towards modern birds. Also on the first floor are a series of kid-oriented stations to describe how fossils are formed and then how they are uncovered by paleontologists. On the lower level are a children's play area (big rug, toys, books, small tables and chairs); several display cases containing small fossils; and three large windows looking into the paleontology lab. During our visit, there was a triceratops skull in two large pieces laid out on the lab table closest to the windows. Very cool!

I don't really care for county fairs that much. But this place was nice. It's ran by the 4H I…read morebelieve. The main problem I have with this fair is that they have a pie auction here. And when I hear pie auction I think of an auction of pies. But what did they have? It was a damn auction of gift baskets, normally I wouldn't care that much, but I like pie. But in the gift baskets auction they did auction off half a pig processed how you like it. And I wished I had enough money to buy half a pig processed how ever i want it. The pigs weight alive was 240, so half of that is 120, minus shit you can't eat so it's like 80-100 pounds of pig. And that was really sweet. There is also a lot of animals for you to look at like, rabbits, horses, dairy cows, meat cows, meat pigs, lambs, and meat lambs. It can be a bit strange looking at an animal that you may eat one day. But not really, because those animals are punk ass bitches, and they have it coming. They also have a livestock auction which I missed, but I would like to go to that to buy an animal, then give it the thumbs down. Then eat it. But the Kenosha County Fair is a good time that's fairly cheap as well. It would have had five stars, if my heart wasn't broken over a gift basket auction in pie auction clothing.
