I've reviewed this place before and have loved it, but that's part of the problem - it's very hit or miss. The nails are usually good, but this last visit I waited an hour (they said the wait would be 15 minutes), so long that the water for the pedicure got cold. Then the tech gave a super underwhelming pedicure and massage and gave me a hot towel that took her 10 minutes to retrieve because she was checking her phone. I had an older gentlemen do my nails. I did the powder dipped. His English was poor and understanding much poorer. He was very rough handling my fingers twisted and pulling on them. During the filing of my nails he cut into the quick several times. When he was finished doing my nails he just got up from his chair, walked around to my chair, pulls at my arms pulling me away from his desk and leaves me out in the open space beside his desk and rolls another chair back into his station, all without saying one single word to me! He treated me like I was too stupid to have the courtesy of speaking to. If nothing else he could have make some sort of gesture he was finished. In this case bringing a co worker who could speak English explain what he was doing. He did not tell me why I was left sitting in the aisle until his next client sat down and he told me to wait 5 minutes for my nails to dry!! Maybe they are all licensed to do nails however he needs to obtain a license in manners and communication. As I'm walking out the door I looked down and saw white patches bleeding through my color. He was very offended and tried to say I did something to ruin my nails. I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life!! read more

I am on vacation and needed a pedicure, I came here the last 2 previous years and am always happy with my pedicure

I absolutely love this salon. They are very friendly, prompt, and they always speak to you when you go in the door. The nail and foot stations are always very clean and sanitized. They ask me what I want done, what color I want if it's nails or toes. The owner has done my nails 3 of the four times I have been in there I was shocked the owner of the business working!!! that's something you DO NOT SEE. He done an excellent job before he put my top coat he asks me if I want them shorter or if I was pleased with the shape. I absolutely loved the final look never disappointed when I leave Norton Nails. We were late for our appointment last month and they told us we were late and they would do us as walk in and everything was fine didn't have to wait long at all. My only problem is I HAVENT SEEN HIS HANDSOME BABY BOY AND HIS LOVELY WIFE KIM SINCE THE BABY WAS BORN. Which I completely understand being very careful especially with a new born. What an awful experience I had here. I live 30 minutes away, and called before making the drive there for a manicure. They assured me there would be little to no wait time upon me arriving. I made the drive over and sat for 2 1/2 hours before getting called back to a booth! If it had not been for me needing my nails done for an important occasion, I would have just left. I tough it out, and wait for this employee to begin my manicure. She was awful. No words can describe how miserable she made this experience for me. She was rough and aggressive throughout the entire process. I am actually certain she was intentionally hard on me. She actually broke the skin on my outer thumb, ring and pinky finger from filing so hard. The friction between my finger tips and her file were so rough, I actually have hide stripped from my index and thumb finger. After the horrible experience, she then didn't even want to put the decal on that I had initially requested before my sitting even began. After finishing she immediately runs to the back and sends a child (7/8 year old) to the front to take my money. After paying, I return to my vehicle where I'm examining my fingers from my sitting, when I notice 4 of my nail beds are visible! She didn't even fill my entire nail bed in with acrylic! Needless to say, I was furious! I will NEVER return to Norton Nails! This was my FIRST & LAST visit to this particular business. read more

My friend and I was walk ins and there was a hour wait, so we ate and went back and they got us right in. They started and was extremely friendly, carried on a conversation and asked if I was okay frequently. The lady doing my nails also got my approval after each task to make sure she was doing what I wanted instead of just going and doing what she thought would look okay. They also don't charge extra for glitter. My price was $40 and she even asked me if that was okay. I've gotten so many compliments too! My nails looks great. All in all I was very pleased. Will make this my permanent salon. read more
