First time that I requested a quote from him for my business and he was so upset and stressed out that I went with my current agent, claiming how he did all the work even though his quote was way more expensive than my current agent who I've known for years, and this guy, who has the guts to call me out and disrespect me, I am so glad I didn't do business with you because you are a shady business owner, very unprofessional and no customer service what so ever, you should be put out of business, I will report you to every agency possible for harassment and write every single review, so people can see what type of person you are. He was nice before I signed up back in 2014-2016, then nothing but partial crickets and a poor attitude. He has imprinted in my mind what a jerk he is. I do not recommend working with him. SCAM ALERT: Signed up for an auto policy. Paid a $282.50 "deposit". Told I would receive text msg…read morepayment reminders. Did not. Never received a bill. However did receive Notice of Intent to Cancel-Non Payment of Premium two days before policy was scheduled to be cancelled. Called immediately to discuss & make a payment. Told I could not make a payment due to "underwriter's requirement". By the time I was able to discover what that was & produce the required documents, my policy was cancelled. Then freeway was happy to restart my policy for an additional $282.50. No thanks.

If there was any bonafide issue with this adjuster, there would have been more than a single complaint. The TDI takes every complaint seriously and requires specific information from the adjuster; which is used by the Department to evaluate the merit of the complaint. Since there was no action taken against this adjuster, it is clear that the TDI was presented with no evidence of malicious behavior. It appears that the complainant lacked even a minimal understanding about insurance claims, and how to best handle them. Additionally, it seems that he/she should have sought advice from a competent medical provider for the numerous aliments experienced.

He provided our tenants with our private insurance funds information. Our tenants then used this information against us, which cost us greatly. Mr. Lera lied to us about a contract and providing legal advice to us as our public insurance adjuster. We don't even know if we were paid for everything on our insurance claim. Mr. Lera was just in a hurry to close out the claim and get his money. Mr. Lera, this has caused us enormous amounts of mental anguish. I have suffered gastrointestinal problems (IBS), because of the amount of stress that Mr. Lera caused. I have also had chronic migraines, chest pain, muscle twitching and significant hair loss. I'm not trying to say that Mr. Lera was the only one that caused this, but he was apart of it. Stay away from Mr. Lera, he is an unethical person and I hope he does not cause the same pain on another person as he did to us.

They explained in detail what coverage i am getting, suggested that i should get un-insured coverage as there are lot of people driving in Houston without insurance to protect me for just $35 extra, and best of all they give me service with a smile. I always felt welcome whenever i stop by even just to get a couple free vietnamese magazines, or newspapers. Wow, I haven't received such professional services from a Vietnamese place like this insurance company for a while. Will be referred all my families and friends to give Cindy State Farm insurance a try.....

Very disappointing total loss payout for my Tesla…read more I usually don't write reviews, but my recent experience with State Farm has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I have a 2023 Tesla Model with only 37,500 miles, well maintained and in great condition before an accident that caused it to be declared a total loss. State Farm's settlement offer was $31,000 -- which doesn't even come close to the actual market value of my car. When I checked Tesla's own official used inventory, I found multiple 2023 models with higher mileage than mine being sold for $34,900 to $35,700 -- some even higher. With the payout offered, I can't buy the same model or even one with higher miles from Tesla's own website. I expected a fair and competitive valuation, but this number feels way below the real replacement cost. If you own a newer Tesla or similar vehicle, you might want to double-check the valuation State Farm gives you. Very disappointing experience -- I hope State Farm can do better for their customers.
