I had the keys to my car but had accidentally locked a steering wheel safety device on it while parked on a side street near my job, deep in St. Louis City. Brandon from R & R immediately responded to my request via Yelp and text, giving me a quick quote and reassuring me that he could help. He arrived in under 40 minutes and solved my problem with ease! He even recommended I find a towel or sheet to catch any debris from the job, which showed how thoughtful and thorough he was. Fast forward to today: I get word that a neighbor locked her keys, phone, and pet inside her car. I didn't hesitate and reached out to Brandon again. Though I wasn't the point person on the ground this time, I let him know someone else would contact him with the details, and Brandon made it clear he was on his way to St. Louis County. True to form, he arrived in under 40 minutes and saved the day once again! What really stands out about Brandon is not just his skill, but his personality. He's funny, friendly, and extremely careful and respectful of the vehicles he works on. R & R Roadside Assistance has impressed us at every turn, providing nothing short of white glove service. We called every other towing company in the county explained the entire situation and asked what they would charge to simply get our property back and the most anyone said they would charge us is $100 and the title. Well we simply didn't have the money so we had no choice but to say screw it. Well this weekend my husband was working over by high ridge auto were the vehicle was taken and he noticed it was still there so today we went in to see what they would charge to get our property because there are several items that were given to my husband by his best friend who is no longer with us. Today she told us $300 and the title but if we were gonna do it we better do it fast because it would be going to scrap this week. When we asked what the process is of a car goingscrap after being towed to which her response was"my way or the legal way" hmm why is there a difference in the two? We asked if we could see ok ur property so we know we're not paying $300 for nothing she refused says she wasn't letting us back there.so we asked her to just go take a pic so we could see the inside of our vehicle she again refused saying we would just have to just take our chances with paying the money but that she knows it's been gone through because people break into their lot all the time.....so if you want your stuff to be safe dont use this towing company!! Not to mention the women had a terrible attitude the whole time and clearly does things her way and not the legal way. The driver lowered the lights and trail hitch down to sneak through a row entrance. The Durango was wedged in next to a post and unable to be moved out of neutral. Yet he was able to get it up on sleds and maneuver the vehicle around the post and our of a tight space surrounded by other cars and get it out. I could not have been more impressed.

The kid (to young for this important intricate job). The kid was rude. Ignored me when I asked a question, about what he was doing. It was the first time in 6 years my car was going to be towed. He made many mistakes. Some he caught and fixed right. Others I had to stop him and tell him that what he was doing was wrong. And then he fixed it. You could clearly tell he was new and really didn't look like or act like he knew what he was doing. Also, and this is my biggest complaint. He was on drugs. He was so hyped (some kind of speed or coke). I have friends who do it. And the signs are unmistakable. The forgetfulness and freaked out actions was really noticeable. Clearly this Company doesn't require drug testing. They need to implement it NOW! My car is very important to me. They were a zero in stars. But you did not have that option. It occurred between 3 and 3:30 pm local time. We were basically boxed in by police, emt, and fire department personnel. Once a statement was given we were told to stay where we were by police. Unfortunately the extremely rude female tow truck driver was obviously in a hurry (pretty sure it wasn't for a hot date) and told us we needed to move out of the way so she could get the tow. Now I can't speak for other people but when someone with a gun & the authority to arrest me or my husband says to do something I'm more likely to listen to the authority figure more so than someone with a bad attitude & diarrhea of the mouth. I called my towing service through my insurance company, but due to the deadly cold inclement weather across the country, when I finally got through, I was told I would have to call back at a later time. We just moved to this area 1 year ago and aren't familiar with services in this area. So I looked up 24 hour towing services in the area, and called Ives Towing. Even though they were hammered with calls, they still arrived within an hour to tow my car. I was so relieved when they showed up with a flatbed truck to tow my Toyota Highlander Hybrid to a Toyota dealer. Nick and Chase were efficient and knowledgeable in hooking up my car. I have MS as well as other health problems and it was so cold out. I am a big woman and old. They were so kind to me. I can't thank them enough for being attentive and helpful. I needed to ride with them to the dealer. Needless to say, I had to be helped to climb up into the truck cab. It wasn't easy and without their help, I would never have been able to do that.....
