We arrived as a group of 6 and had the choice of doing it at a place of our choosing or at his shooting range. We chose to do it at his range and arrived at his home and began the course. We provided a couple of the hand guns but he had a wide selection for us to handle so we would be familiar with different hand guns and to give us an idea of what we may feel more comfortable with in the future. The shooting range had 2 targets with an option for paper targets as well. It wasn't anything fancy but was exactly what was needed for the course. McGregor was able to answer all of our questions and provide us with the information and hands on time to learn how to safely handle fire arms. We still have a lot to learn but it is a great stepping stone to feeling comfortable and making safety a priority. As he says "There are no dangerous guns, only dangerous people, unskilled in firearm safety." His course also meets the requirements to apply for a Concealed Weapon Permit.

I had never shot any weapon before and I would lie if I said that I wasn't a little scared. The class was very well done, and in my opinion it covered everything a beginner needs to know. The best part was when we went practicing. The target was about 9/10 feet away, easy to hit so everybody had a sense of accomplishment. I didn't know that shooting was actually really fun! Whether your purpose is to "defend and protect" or simply learn a new skill, I would definitely recommend to attend this class. You won't be disappointed. Great work!
