I've taken Daisy's year one and two class, reiki master and master teacher attunements, and have also had sessions with her. I love her approachable and grounded way of talking about all things "woo woo." She has an incredible sense of humor and doesn't take things too seriously but certainly cares very much at the same time. She has healthy boundaries and always made me feel safe and supported when exploring new healing modalities. If you get the opportunity to learn from her, I highly recommend it! The healing sessions I've had with Daisy always give me such great perspective on things going on in my life. I've had some healers tell me things about myself that really didn't sound right before. I recently went to an evening meditation session. When I got there she was collecting checks and credit cards---and we couldn't start until she had all our money. I was warned by a friend that her talk was going to be pretty elementary...so wasn't expecting much from that....and she didn't deliver much. For the meditation, I was hoping something was happening but I felt nothing...except for back pain. After, when I asked her about it she blamed me!!! ...telling me that I had so much negative energy that was why I was feeling that!!! When I got there she was bragging about her trip to Europe and how great it was....There were about 20 women there.....(she was taking all their money and going to Europe!) I left feeling icky, and like I was taken. I wrote the next day asking for my money back....no reply!!! I believe she is a fraud. read more

I'm usually good about writing reviews for businesses I love, so I'm surprised it's taken me so long to write a review for Daisy. I think the reason is is that I don't have the words to describe the utter awesomeness she provides! Here are just a few of the great things she offers: Community- I have met so many great people through Daisy's classes and meditation groups. It's been really fun and meaningful to connect with other like minded people about the topics we discuss. Mindset- Daisy can put extraordinarily complex thoughts into words in the most eloquent and effective way. She certainly offers a viewpoint for our world that I have never heard anyone else have the courage to voice. I truly admire her unwavering beliefs. Things I've learned- I have taken all of the Reiki classes and am now in Year 3 of the year long classes. She teaches in a way that is very structured, organized and consistent. The topics she teaches cannot be found in books. Even if you've been doing this type of work for a long time, I can guarantee you have not learned what she teaches. I wish everyone I know could learn from her! It's so cool!! Healing work- I have been working with Daisy on all different issues such as divorce, the passing of my dad, grandmother, uncle, and grandfather (all within about 2 years), my career, my artwork, relationships, my dog, Hashimoto's and ADHD. Not only has she been able to help me through being able to talk things out, she also works her Reiki magic to help bring more balance to my system. The first time I went in, I could not understand how it felt like she was at my feet when she was actually holding my shoulders. The feeling of Reiki is undeniable! I hope everyone can experience this. I also want to add that Daisy has been non-judgmental of both the natural and western medicine choices I have made. I have been to other healers and natural medicine providers who have amplified the stigma of some choices I have made (in addition to how hard I have been on myself for it), so it really is a huge deal to get her support on that. Inspired- Daisy is just the coolest! I admire how hard she has worked and all that she has overcome to get to where she is now. A healer can only take their clients as far as they are willing to go, and Daisy has certainly inspired me to believe in myself. I am happy for those who have found healing in working with Daisy but want to offer a different perspective. A good healer is not necessarily going to be a good healer for everyone and I did not have a positive experience with Daisy. I have a devoted spiritual practice and have trained and worked with multiple healers and teachers with positive results. Admittedly, I had high expectations of Daisy due to the length of her wait list, but the experience has been troubling me. Enough to for me to write this review. A session with Daisy is expensive. For the price, I think it's fair to assume that a session will be tailored to your specific needs. Instead, I experienced Daisy as unengaged during our session. I found her answers to my questions, as given to her from my guides to hers, to be generic and sometimes contradictory to my own experience with my guides. I ultimately felt unseen and that my own experiences were dismissed. In a nutshell, when it was all said and done I felt decidedly icky. I am inclined to believe that energy healing was done, but felt nothing during or after the session on that level. read more

I went in as an optimistic skeptic. I grew up with a spiritualist mother so alternative tools were the norm growing up but with reiki I always felt that it must have been a scam. I mean, how can someone barely touch you and somehow heal you? It always seemed so far fetched, if not a mind over matter suckers game. All I can say is WOW. Half way through my session I started crying. I literally felt as if she was releasing some toxin and I felt CLEAN. That's the only way I can describe it. She also is highly intuitive and can lock right into your personal blocks while teaching you how to restore your own sense of self/goals for a more sustainable lifestyle and personal day to day existence. If she wasn't so darn expensive, I would see her every week. I mean, hands down, it was more powerful than any therapy I have been through. You just feel so much more prepared and okay with anything that the world throws at you, even your douchie boss. If you are at all curious, please give it a try. You will be heartily impressed and become a huge fan of her work. The rumor is that she also does home cleanses and assists souls in crossing over, but I don't have any detail or personal experience to share on this so please inquire. The Northwest Healing Studio is just a name for a place featuring Daisy Thompson. Daisy is a very gifted energy worker and Reiki instructor. I have taken all of her Reiki courses and have become a master/teacher through her program. I have also been seeing Daisy as a client of her energy work for over a year now. Daisy is an incredible teacher. Her passion and compassion for her work come across as love and light to all that get the opportunity to experience training with her. I highly recommend making an appointment as soon as you're able. I had to wait a few months to be seen, but it was absolutely worth the wait. This was my first experience with Reiki (at all) so, obviously I felt very, very fortunate to have stumbled into the right place and the right person. I should have played the lottery that day I think. As a mild intuitive, I could pick up on the positive vibes of the waiting room even. Daisy is absolutely amazing. I love her ability to be down to earth and not take "life" too seriously. Her evening with the guides provides you with an opportunity to meet with her in a group setting. the class is tailored to the individuals attending, and somehow the group that comes together always tends to be working through similar spaces in their life. Daisy is amazing. She is gifted on many levels and this is evident the moment you walk into her studio. I've taken Reiki classes from her and her compassion, insight, experience and talent have really helped me to understand what Reiki is all about. She is patient and helpful in guiding students on the right path but allows us to feel and learn on our own. I can't say enough good things. Daisy is the real deal, plus she's incredibly intuitive and always nails what I'm thinking. She'll say it before I get the question out (which continues to surprise me).
