As of today both of my dogs have had to have cruciate surgery and they have both gone to see the wonderful staff at Northlake. This surgery is pretty intense and I can not be thankful enough that my vet referred me here. They are very empathetic and detail oriented, which is super important for those who are clueless how to handle this. Every one here has done their part caring for both of my dogs and I can not be more grateful

Love these guys. I have been here many times with the dogs I have fostered over the past 12 years. Several back surgeries, dogs hit by cars, etc. The staff is very friendly and professional. The nurses are top notch. The doctors are very candid about what is and is not realistic to fix with surgery. I really trust them.

4 days after surgery. Just took off bandage.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this amazing establishment. My pupper has recently ran into some bad knee problems. I just got a medial patellar surgery done with Northlake for my pit bull. YES it is expensive. I had to get care credit to help make payments but everything is included. I paid $2800 but this included ALL medication, ALL checkups and whatever she needed. This is the normal price you're going to find anywhere for this surgery. After surgery they kept her for the night to make sure she did well. I had the staff call me throughout the day to let me know when surgery started, after surgery was finished and how she was doing after she woke up. The surgery has been so successful so far. She just got her staples removed and she's walking so much better. We have a lot of rehabilitation but she's making amazing progress. I believe Dr. Kevin Coleman did the surgery and he was incredible. He made me so comfortable, he explained everything to me and drew diagrams so I knew EVERYTHING. The incision was pristine. Very little normal bruising and swelling. NO discharge, no irritation. As someone whose working on a zoology degree these people inspire me. Not only this but my dog LOVES the staff. Whenever we go in the entire staff knows her and gets excited to see her. Georgia( my dog) just cuddles with them and loves them. I'm so grateful I came here. They took her to the back to remove her staples and I heard everyone in the back start saying "Georgia! Hey girly!" And a guy started singing her name, it was the cutest thing. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM! If my dog knew the reason she was at Northlake she would continue to hurt herself to purposely come back to see the staff ‍

Finn wrapped in some sweats, happy, after getting his cast changed.

Their service is outstanding. I brought my rescue there whose previous owners had taken him to a not so good vet and his records were a whole mess. The vets there talked it though with us and helped up figure out what exactly his status was and gave solid recommendations for his future care. My italian greyhound broke his leg and their prices are extremely competitive for orthopedic surgery and come highly recommended by every vet and rescue organization that I spoke with. I cannot shout enough praises for their care and professionalism, especially in the current circumstances 10/10 every single time. They have been incredible from start to finish.

Marley after her first TPLO surgery. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone.

Dr. Coleman is fantastic, and so is the entire office. My dog had TPLO surgery and it was thank goodness a wonderful experience.

I saw why at my first visit in 2022, when he was able to efficiently and accurately diagnose a chronic case that stumped three other Vets. They are now our first call when we realize we have a foster cat with a potentially medically complicated or confusing case. Doctor Lloyd has been able to help us get answers and better understand treatment options for medical multiple foster kitties for us over the last few years - from an older kitten who kept getting high fevers and bizarre symptoms, a young cat that showed signs of feline hyperesthesia, a tiny kitten who turned out to have a rare congenital cardiac condition (both are adults and doing great!), our own sweet but very skittish cat who needed complicated dental surgery, and a geriatric sweetheart with a laundry list of medical issues who found himself on an EU list at a rural shelter, Dr Lloyd helped us understand what to look out for with his conditions and what to balance in his treatment plan for best quality of life during his hospice foster time with us. They have always taken the time not only to explain any findings or recommendations and answer questions, but to make sure the cat had the best possible experience during the exam with the least amount of stress. The bedside manner grabbed my attention before they'd even had a chance to show the medical brilliance. I felt bad at first booking my resident cats for an appointment bc it seemed greedy to use that sort of amazing diagnostic and treatment planning ability to just give a routine check up and vaccines, but I'm so, so, so glad we did Eternal gratitude to these folks, especially Dr. Lloyd.

My super high-energy Frenchton, Miles, had an injury over the holiday weekend, which I thought was his back leg. I made an online appointment request for the next available weekday, which was approved first thing in the morning. The online appointment system is so easy and very efficient. The facility is adorable, spotlessly clean, and the staff is amazing. Sharif is an absolute angel, treating Miles like his own pet, and I really want to be his new best friend, Lol! Dr Simmons is fantastic and took so much time with Miles, explaining the injury and the required treatment. I feel confident he will be feeling back to himself soon once we get thru this rest period to heal what turned out to be a herniated disc in his lumbar spine. I have happily found my baby's new vet and feel very confident in the care my sweet boy received today! I was sent an email with the notes about the visit which was such a nice touch. I have never received anything like that with any other vet office. I am very thankful I was referred to Dr Simmons!

We live out of state but will be driving to Simmons clinic for routine check ups and vaccinations because they were just that great ! .

We were in an out in about 30 minutes total. I also have to note how clean the facility was and how reasonably priced they were especially for being a dedicated emergency vet. I rushed into The Village Vet after unknowingly giving my dog some blue cheese, which I later found out is toxic to dogs. He became extremely sick, experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, and obvious discomfort, and I wanted to make sure he was okay. When I arrived, I was also in an extreme amount of pain myself. While several people noticed that I wasn't doing well, it was J, the nighttime office personnel, who stepped in to help. She thoughtfully brought me a heating pad to ease the extraordinary pain I was experiencing. That small but incredibly meaningful gesture showed true compassion--not just for my dog, but for me as well. J's kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to step in when I needed it most is something I will never forget. I am deeply grateful for her care that night. The Village Vet may be known for caring for pets, but in my experience, it was J's compassion toward the owner that stood out most. Thank you, J!!!
