Maintenance staff come by every so often to check the temperature of the baths. There are thermostats in the baths to show how hot it is, or you can just dip your hand or toes in to check. Swim suit is mandatory. One of the baths has disability seating. It's a chair that can be lowered into the bath with a seat belt. I've never seen that before, but it's a nice feature. The baths are outdoors, so it's very sunny. If you forgot to bring your sunscreen, the gift shop sells it. It's $55 for a day pass per person, I feel is a bit pricy considering we are staying at the deluxe cabin. But if you choose to use their spa services, I think there is a discount to use the baths or it's included in the spa services price of $90 or up. The baths are clean, the lockers are nice. There are showers, restrooms, and a sauna inside in the spa building. They give you one clean towel and locker keys if needed. There is calm spa music playing all the time in the shower/sauna/bath area. There is also a bar there, but you'll have to go out of your way to get a drink, because they don't want you drinking in the pools I guess... Had a great time at the pools. Very family friendly. Remember to bring your own sunscreen and flip flops!

Wonderful, relaxing experience. Can't wait to visit again!read more

What followed was not the provision of medical care consistent with Nevada law or accepted standards of practice, but a sequence of dismissals, misrepresentations, and dangerous prescribing decisions (AGAIN) that placed me, the patient, at risk and violated my rights. 1. Clinical Analysis of the Discharge Record Even though the staff verbally "scoffed" and suggested it was just a 'kidney stone', the After Visit Summary tells a different story: Official Diagnosis: They have officially documented Ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction as a primary diagnosis. This is not a "simple kidney stone"; it is the exact pathology identified at the first ER. Abnormal Lab Results: My urinalysis showed Trace Protein and 1+ Ketones, which indicates my kidneys are under stress. Medication: They administered Ketorolac (Toradol) at 6:32 PM. Toradol is an NSAID that can be hard on the kidneys; given my history of kidney failure, this needs to be monitored closely. Breach of the Standard of Care: This occurs when a provider fails to provide the level of care a competent professional would. (e.g., dismissing an acute UPJ obstruction as "chronic pain" without new imaging). Failure to Diagnose / Delay in Diagnosis: The refusal by SMRMC to perform a new CT or MRI despite worsening lab markers (Protein/Ketones) and a 1.9 cm lesion. Patient Abandonment/Violation of Rights: Repeated requests for a Patient Advocate were denied, and call buttons were ignored. I WILL ADD THIS TO MY ON-GOING CASE, PICTURED BELOW AND THE COMPARISONS OF BOTH EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT FALIURES.

Wait time was minimal before being called in to pre-op on my surgery day. They have a big screen in the waiting room to keep track of patients which was pretty nice. Restrooms close by and clean. Sarah was my nurse and she helped me feel at ease during my procedure prep. We chatted and compared our Italy trips while she got me dressed and took vitals. My Dr came shortly before my surgery and went over a few things and left me in good hands. Everyone there was friendly and thorough in explaining what would be happening. Before I knew it I was wheeling into the operating room and given my anesthesia and lights out! I awoke in the recovery room and was asked by Joe if I was in pain. I was barely awake but said yes so he gave me some pain meds in my IV which helped quickly. I was able to wake up more and helped to get dressed to leave. I was wheeled out to my ride and felt ready to go. My only other hospital experience was with Renown but now I feel confident in going to NNMC in the future if necessary!

The bill read: "Need to set up a payment plan? Call customer service at..." Hoping to do just that, I called the 800 number shown on the bill. I was on hold for 35 frustrating minutes until I got connected with a representative who's command of English is "not exemplary", requiring me to ask her several times to repeat things she said so I could understand her. Despite the bill stating that payment in full was due "yesterday" (Sunday 2/22/26), I was told my bill was not "finalized" yet and that she could not set up a payment plan until it was. I asked when that would happen and she suggested I "call back in a week or two" (meaning: she didn't know). Extremely frustrating!!

It's that time again: a follow up visit with my primary care doctor. I arrived at the clinic…read moreshortly before my 7:10 appointment and even though there were a few patients already seated in the waiting area, the queue wasn't long, so I stepped up the receptionist in time for my appointment. After a few minutes, the doctor's assistant, Maria, called me to follow her to the exam room. She prepped me for my appointment by taking my vitals: blood pressure, tested my blood sugar, took my weight and noted any changes with medications. A few more minutes passed before my doctor stepped into the room; usual clinical talks, we discussed my lab results, changed to my diet and medication, exercise routine and schedule other tests plus referrals to other medical care I may need (like an eye exam). Overall, this visit was very routine; everyone was polite and professional.

I am a doctoral candidate and a professional who expects a basic level of clinical competence…read more After a previous provider at this facility, Lynette Rossback, failed to meet the standard of care, I was told I would be transferred to the "most competent doctor they have." My experience with Dr. Saba Mohammed proved that statement to be entirely false. It was a complete failure of medical ethics. Instead of investigating peer reviewed literature or acknowledging my documented history, Dr. Saba Mohammed defaulted to a "delusional disorder" diagnosis. This is blatant medical gaslighting. It is an attempt to pathologize a patient who is well-educated on their own condition because the provider is unable to keep up with modern research. If you have a complex illness and you are smarter than your average physician, stay away. This office would rather label you as mentally ill than do the work to understand a multi-system physiological issue. Dr. Saba Mohammed is not the most competent doctor they have. He is not competent at all. This is a provider who retreats into psychiatric labels when they are out of their depth and incapable of doing their actual job or using any level of critical thinking whatsoever.
