They are fair priced and quick to respond. I have used them for roofing repairs, replacement siding, and replacement windows. James treats you like family and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and discuss both short term and long term options/outlooks for your projects/problems. His staff has always been friendly and helpful pointing out any concerns that they uncover along the way. The crews do great work and leave the site clean once completed. I will continue to use Powell Roofing for my Charleston area needs. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to work with a great, personable company where you are treated like family and not a number.

Called Minutemen Property Damage Services and they had someone out to our house in Mount Pleasant within the hour, which honestly saved us from way worse damage. The tech walked us through everything before starting, set up the drying equipment, and actually explained why they needed to leave it running for a few days instead of just rushing through it. They also helped us deal with our insurance adjuster which took so much stress off our plate, we had no idea what we were doing with all that paperwork. Tim and his team clearly know what they're doing - this isnt their first rodeo with water damage. Would recommend to anyone dealing with a leak or flooding situation, just wish we never had to use them in the first place lol.

The first thing I want to say is that I highly recommend ServPro of Downtown Charleston when you…read morewant to clean your house thoroughly in preparation for selling or renting. I had them clean my house in West Ashley because I wanted the house to be cleaned to very high standards and I am very pleased with their work. ServPro put my house in a high state of cleanliness that I can brag about and be sure a buyer or renter will marvel at. This level of cleanliness is especially important since a buyer will be contemplating whether to buy and how much to pay. I want a buyer or renter to know they are getting a house that was well maintained and cared for. I feel that ServPro of Downtown Charleston went above and beyond by having a supervisor inspect the job and even do some spot cleaning once the crew had finished. Most cleaning companies just wipe surfaces and go, but ServPro understands that wiping and cleaning are different and that the goal is to clean a house not just wipe surfaces. I also feel that I got very responsive customer service from the manager, Chris Williams, and the admin, Chantell Graham. I'm busy, so normally used email to communicate. The few times I contacted them I always got a timely response that included solutions with no excuses. When I called it made me very happy that I got Chantell and not a robot directing me to other robots as is often the case these days; ServPro doesn't hide behind a phone tree. Finally, I am more than satisfied with the final results. The house is sparkling clean and they even attended to things that were not on the list and that's what I mean by above and beyond. Thanks, ServPro, I got more than my money's worth!
