I persuaded my husband to come into the store w me, although he doesn't like the owner. The owner told ush that the sale was ending that very afternoon. I was offered $500 for a mid-range single mattress, tax in, made in Canada...a bit more than I wanted to pay, but so convenient: we could fit it into our car and be done One of the main reasons I bought that day was the representation by the owner Craig that the sale was ending that day, July 20. It is August 19 today. Driving through Minden last weekend I noticed the sign was still up. I called today and the gal told me the sale is running until Labour Day. She didn't quote me any prices other than the cheapest and the highest. Years ago, we bought a mattress at the store and asked if they might give us delivery for free/waive the fee. Craig was quite snitty with his "no". A polite "no" would have been appropriate Two strikes. Out. I used to work in marketing...we never pulled these stunts.
