I eventually got into Magic the Gathering and spent entire summers here, and always had a place to hang out after school and on weekends. I'm 39 now and my brother still plays magic there to this day. I moved from and to the mid-west, so I've not always been around, but Eagle hill has always been a staple of my childhood like so many. Floyd and Paul gave us something fun to do in a pretty boring town. I always make effort to stop and say hello, and give them some business when I'm in town. I personally don't care about the past comment 1 star review, and you shouldn't either. It's hard to believe either of these guys would be rude to anyone, but they are getting much older now still dealing with a new generation of kids bullshit. I'd be tired of it after 30 some years in business, but there they are, still giving the kids a place to play games and find collectibles. I have so many fond memories here. Dead end job...pshhh....Brady B can kick rocks. Every job in town is dead-end so go back to the dish pit with your minimum wage paid ass. Learn to have some respect and appreciation for even having a place to buy and play games before coming to rip on them.

Dollarama offers lots of value priced merchandise and food items with prices at $1, $1.25, $1.50, $2, $3, some items less than $1 like 77 cent candy bars or 2 for $1. The prices and goods here are comparable to Great Canadian Dollar Store. I stopped in at the Woodstock Dollarama to shop for bargains. I exchanged my US Dollars to Canadian Dollars before coming here and the exchange rate was pretty good (1.00 USD=1.32 CAD) even after the HST. This Woodstock store is organized and clean and has several long narrow aisles, which are well stocked offering housewares, kitchen items, home & garden items, candy, snacks, dry groceries, beverages, toys, games, books (overstocks/out of print), cards, party supplies, decorations, health & beauty, small electronics, Canada themed goods, and miscellaneous items. I bought several varieties of the Nestle Aero chocolate bars (not sold in USA), Covered Bridge potato chips ($1.25), a leather CD case, Royal Family Album Book ($3), Jonas Bros book ($3), and wall clock ($3). When an appointment can not be given because "the doctor is working.." you kind of question your parent. My mother heard correctly. Apparently they can't figure things out until one week out. Seriously? That's a head scratcher. As I was sitting in the waiting room during the 3 hour wait for an appointment that I knew (and was told) lasted on average 45 minutes, I heard conversations that I've never heard from a waiting room. When the nurse (if that was a nurse) asked the gentlemen if he wanted a valium, I wanted to raise my hand. If someone had just stepped out to let me know (and the elderly couple who sat their longer than I) I would have appreciated it. If the nurse hadn't been condescending and known the glasses DO fit over the bandage for the ride home...yikes. I just hope the surgeon has more ability than the employees I dealt with.

It was actually kind of nice coming to a Walmart and it not being overly crowded and the parking lot jammed with people . Once we entered, we grab a cart which is right on the left-hand side and we just walked around. There's a lot of things offered at a Walmart in Canada in comparison to the states. We picked up some products that we would not normally get in the states. Pricing is very comparable to the states as well. The staff are really helpful and friendly. They have a self check out or you could go to a lane with an employee. This Walmart seems very organized and clean as well. Overall, it might just be like any other Walmart, but it was nice to go to a different Walmart than your typical.
