A nurse practitioner here took my partner off of all of his medications after diagnosing him with…read morethe conditions he was on medications for. She then talked up this medication to him that was supposed to fix all the issues he was on those medications for when in reality this was only a sedative sleep medication. He then got hallucinations from this medication. He was finally at a good place with his mental health and his medications then taking him off of all his meds and putting him on a new one put him in a bad place mentally again. Never would recommend this office to anyone with complex mental health issues.

I can't say enough about the staff, they helped us through the paperwork and were very kind. From everyone from the janitors, the food service, the administrators, nurses... everyone was so kind and nice. The only thing mom didn't like was the food. Don't send your family member here. My dad was a resident there, and they contradicted everything…read morethey ever told him. My dad is a real meat and potatoes kind of guy, so a lot of the things they serve the residents there he wouldn't eat, so what he did eat was a salad, or a sandwich, unless his family prepared him meals and took them too him. Then when it came time for him to get out, they kept telling him one thing, or nothing at all. And the day he is finally released is three days after insurance is supposed to stop covering the costs and it becomes out of pocket. Not everyone is awful there, but If my dad ever needs to go back into assisted living, it definitely won't be Lakeland. So if you care for loved ones, go somewhere else.
