I used to love this bank. Now it sucks ASS. I'm Going elsewhere ASAP. It's Saturday, once again I have to run to deposit my work check. I didn't catch it till I got home. The dipshits in Biddeford only deposited $500 hundred of my fkn check with up to five days holding. And I have fkn bills to pay. There's absolutely NO excuse for this shit. I've been with them for over fifteen years and same job for ten. Same damn check! And they pull this shit on me. NO excuses. I'm done. I have always had a great experience at this bank, even when it was Ocean Communities. I remember opening up my first bank account here and I have been a faithful member ever since. However, I recently had a less than stellar experience with Northeast and it's employees, which has tarnished my appreciation of the credit union. Having been a customer for 12+ years, I would have thought I would have been given better service, and I am honestly not one to complain, but I had the worst customer service experience as I was trying to refinance a car loan. First off, the people working at this branch were incredibly rude and didn't want to seem to help me. I had everything that they required to refinance my car, but by the time their protocols were in place, I finally was able to refinance my car after waiting an entire month from the beginning of the process to the end. I had to consistently call and get an update, and whenever I would call, they needed something else for me to do. If they had been proactive and updated me on what needed to be sent to them, it would have taken less time for the whole process to go through. I am honestly an understanding person and although the experience was stressful and time-consuming, I tried to remain calm, even though it felt like they were failing me as a customer. Whenever I would state my frustrations with the workers, one told me that I was being disrespectful and demanding...to be VERY clear, I have never been called that in my entire life. At one point I had to call the corporate office just to get in touch with the employee that was handing my refinancing. I finally was able to get my car refinanced, but Northeast really needs to reconsider their protocols and take a look at the employees at this branch. I have never had such a stressful and arduous experience when refinancing a car, and they employees didn't help to make it an easier experience. In fact, they elevated the stress. Will I give this bank any further business? Definitely not, which is unfortunate given the convenience of the location of this bank for me, but with the poor professionalism exhibited by the employees and the arduous protocols in place, it really left a sour taste for Northeast and what it has to offer. read more

This is simply a horrible credit union. When you call they try to get you to do everything self service, it's like doing business with a robot. No one answers the phone, I have been on hold for over 15 minutes . I seriously don't get how they stay in business . read more

I have a car loan through this bank. Last month, I was unable to pay my loan due to unforeseen circumstances. In 3 years, this was the first loan payment that I missed! I received a phone call last week from a man, and when I explained that I was waiting to get paid before I could make the payment, I was met with a passive aggressive tone from the bank representative. This morning I received another phone call. I spoke to a girl on the phone that was so cavalier and diminutive of me, it actually brought me to tears. She continued to lecture me on money and being an adult. I was absolutely floored. This person knows nothing about my life, and was actually laughing at me while we were speaking. I don't know what kind of customer service training the employees are offered, but I hope that it is not the standard and the norm of this bank to have its representatives belittle customers. read more

While many of the services this CU offers are excellent I continue to find weekly issues with their on line banking, bill pay, etc where the systems are down. I really would like to see better availability and reliability. read more

I WOLD NEVER recommend Ocean communities credit Union to my friends/ and or family I think they have a poor outlook on there customers. I thought Credit Unions are suppose to build a customer relationship status in which they do Not even care about the customer. I have been a member there for approximately 7 years or so, to be downgraded and treated with very little respect. the people in the underwriting dept ask for 2 references in which case the references should be contacted instead they are just Stereo -type bad in a negative way. I went to them to refinance my vehicle that I confided in them for my security. and I had 2 other vehicles prior through them with never a problem, I don't understand what the problem is NOW A few years ago I got several peoples accounts mailed to me by a accident supposedly I was even honest enough to send them back, to the right Dept And now I get this treated with disrespect NO thank You. OCEAN COMMUNITIES NO WAY TO GET GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE Customer service should be number one I think they are very unprofessional.
