I don't really think of the Northcote Shopping Centre as a shopping destination, and definitely not as a shopping centre. I see it as Countdown and Little Asia, and my visits here are always targeted, so it is not a browser's centre at all.
Ignoring Countdown, there is very little here to see, unless you are Asian or interested in Asian culture. There is food, health supplements and other stores that sell things I wouldn't even be able to explain what they do.
I came here to buy a sheepskin, and was surprised to find about four shops selling them. After securing a great deal, I strolled about looking at the other stores, and was surprised that the developers of this centre allowed it to develop in this way. read more
