Pam is very warm and made me feel as if I had known her forever. Let's face it, getting laser hair removal is not a fun, or very comfortable procedure to get done, especially a brazillian, but she made sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole time. She was extremely patient and thorough. I was totally shocked at the reasonable prices, and at her honesty. There were a few procedures I wanted to have done but Pam suggested waiting until after summer when I will get optimal results. Before doing the laser on my legs she put numbing cream on my eyebrows so that when she was finished with my legs, I would be all numbed up and ready to go. I absolutely love the way they came out! Not one time did I feel she was rushing me, getting annoyed or frustrated because I would keep looking in the mirror to see how they were coming out! She encouraged me to look at them carefully and make sure I loved the way they looked! I am so happy with not only the services I received, or the extreme reasonable prices, but the entire staff from the receptionist who greets you when you come in the door, to the woman who checked me out when I left! Although their price list is a bit more expensive than I'm used to, I booked an appointment anyway because new customers get 30% off. Street parking is hilariously easy compared to the Bayside/Flushing salons I'm used to frequenting. My technician determined that an oval lash map would suit my eye shape best. I decided on a C14 mink set, and was guided into a private area closed off from other customers by actual walls rather than thin curtains. The bed was so comfortable, I fell asleep within a few minutes of starting! Halfway through both eyes, she removed the tapes and gave me a mirror to confirm that I liked how it looked so far. The rest of the appointment went by quickly, it only took about an hour total to apply 110 pieces per eye. As a testament to their work's longevity, ZERO pieces fell out during the first week and they still looked good (slightly thinner, minimal gapping) 3 weeks later when I came back for my fill. If I'd written this review then, it would've been glowing. The second time was a different woman. She was very kind, but the experience and results were awful. She took over an hour to simply tint my lashes. This is usually a 15-20 minute process. I was the only customer at the time, so it's not because she was busy tending to others. She initially applied the protective patches on my skin under my eyes but then removed them for most of the process. I had dark dye stains on the skin under my eyes through the next day. She didn't apply the dye the full length of my lashes, so I still had blond at the base. The color lasted less than a week (it usually stays for a month). It was a complete waste of time and money.
