Very nice, if you dont mind fake kindness. They dont really care about providing infomation, they just want to get you in the door before answering any basic questions...it just comes across very sketchy. Like they are selling timeshares or something. I called 3 different places, they were all open about their general pricing, North River on the other hand was very secretive and was simply unable to provide any basic details. The girls at the front desk make it sound like a scam, not answering your questions, redirecting the conversation with another questions or imediately trying to book you for an appointment. Sounded very scripted, like a cheep telemarketing firm. Very off putting... Maybe the chiropractor is good, I dont know... Every industry has the ability to be up-front and transparent about pricing. This office was the exact opposite, which simply comes off as a scam in my view. read more

I started visiting North River Chiropractic in February, and over the last 8 months, I have had almost complete relief from the symptoms I walked in with. I was having terrible neck and shoulder pain, and these issues were starting to impact my arms. Dr Johns and his staff are awesome! You can tell each of them truly cares about the process of relieving your pain, correcting the problem, and then helping you maintain the results achieved. I am so thankful to have finally found a chiropractor that actually wants you to get healed and then you can help yourself by continuing to stay maintained. So pumped! I've been coming to Dr. John's for about a year now. Last year he diagnosed me with sever degenerative disc disease. Scary! I'm in my early 30's, so I wasn't expecting that!!! Not only had I been in back pain since 8th grade, but because of my spine it was starting to effect my whole body. I thought I had carpal-tunnel syndrome in my wrists. It's the only thing I had ever heard about causing wrist pain. Figured I would be like most and need surgery. Took a few months, but by month 6 or so I forgot I had, had wrist pain. I mean I couldn't put any pressure on my wrists. It was really sad to feel that way. I've been helped so much! Neck pain Middle back pain Lower back pain Wrist pain Hip and leg pain / sciatic pain My husband wow same for him! He's had so much improvement and help on his whole body. Shoulders, neck, legs, etc... we were all kinds of messed up before getting the therapies we needed. Yoli is an amazing therapist too. Her massages rock and the physical therapies she taught me for at home care to help myself more and continue to get better and stronger, have been SO HELPFUL! Wow combined with listening to what I should do outside of their office and coming to get my therapies there has been a life saver. I would probably be way crippled in less then 10 years if I hadn't got the help I needed. I forget often how much pain I have been in for like 20 years. All the squirming in seats because I'm uncomfortable constantly. Back pain always there. I thought I just had a fidget problem and was so self-conscious about myself. Nope just extreme spinal pains! They are the biggest ripoff !! Was told they will file a claim right away and it will take Medicare 2-3 months for reimbursement!! It took North River over 2 months before filing the claim!! They are way higher then any other chiropractor in this area. The suck you in with free consultation and end up charging you an Arm and a Leg!! Be aware of their practice!!! read more

Once you go and are evaluated that's when they get you! By the time you are told all your issues and the money needed to fix it, your in shock! Whatever you do really rethink signing those papers! They are overpriced big time! We found a chiropractor that took my husbands Medicare and it was free. Definitely not at North River! Because of the economy we asked for a lower payment because we still owe them after canceling their service they refused to lower it under $100. I have been seeing Dr. Johns for about two weeks. I have severe lower back pain and shoulder pain. I can't tell you how impressed I've been with him and his wonderful staff. I've had two massages by Yoli and each time I have so much relieve. She's phenomenal. Dr. Johns does the adjustments and explains how I'm progressing. My therapy is done with Monica, who is also fantastic. Tamara is the office manager, so very professional and so nice and Isis, who has the sweetest personality, is the front desk person. I feel I'm going to feel so much better after the whole course is through. I had to mention the staff because they make me want to keep my appointments and encourage me all the way. I feel that's an important aspect to a great company. So, thank you Dr. John and your Charlie's Angels. (Ask Monica, she'll understand.) read more
