A bunch of liars. Tough to get to without a car and you fill out a ton of forms, all for nothing.

I sent a resume and was contacted by someone from the JC office. She was very nice and friendly. I…read morewas scheduled to meet with two people in the Little Falls office for an interview. It was unprofessional from start to finish. Time waster for anyone who is a real professional, has a solid education, refined social skills or used to working in a real corporate environment. If you enjoy being interviewed by young ladies hyped up on Red Bull (and/or cocaine - hard to tell from how amped up they were), who fidget with their jewelry and phones the entire time, and not be able to get a word in for a solid hour, or watch extremely exaggerated hand movements whipping through the airspace like an episode of Jersey Shore then this is the place for you. For a "woman owned" business, being chided by one of the interviewers for going back to school "at your stage of life" was probably the most insulting thing I've heard in an interview. Ringing the little silver bell when I arrived in the vacant reception area was probably a sign I should have just walked out of the brightly coloured (in an outdated 1994 way), and heavily stained office without saying a word.

I'm an established candidate and have worked with different offices of Atrium. Some recruiters are…read moremore professional, accomplished, and capable of others. I was placed in a short-term temp role that was much lower than my experience and value was worth but it exposed me to a new industry that I wanted experience in and, well, it kept me employed and earning a paycheck during New Jersey's ongoing abyssmal jobs crisis. However, one particular recruiter is generally unprofessional and never grasped the extent, significance, or value of my career experience. The best examples I can provide are that I had to pretty much beg him to be submitted for a customer service role at a luxury company, and was their favorite candidate. I have a very high-level and long-term experience in these types of roles and this job was definitely below my expertise level. He didn't want to submit me because IN HIS OPINION I was UNDERQUALIFIED since my work exactly match the job description. Just didn't use his brain. Only wanted to slide Tab A into Slot B. Instead of realizing that I was already master at my job, I had to beg him to be submitted for a peon's job. He insulted me again by launching into a check-list of how not to behave at an interview. I interrupted him to remind him of the high class of work and clients that I deal with and that this pep talk was a waste of both our time. He agreed and said, "That's why I submitted you, although I didn't have to." Excuse me? Don't pull a power play on me, please. My interview lasted 3 hours because I blew everyone away with my competence. He called me afterward and was SO AMAZED and GUSHING that they loved me so much. The job ultimately got scrapped so I never got it, which is just as well since it really was low-end. The point is that this guy was ignorant, rude, and doesn't realize the significance or value of his candidate's work.
