The only drawback of this studio is some parents are either allowed to break the rules of the competitive team or they get away with lying to the instructors. To join the competitive team you must sign a contract that states your child will make the company their number one priority and will not participate in any other activities that conflict with the dance companies rehearsal and competition schedule. This year there is one parent in particular that has boasted to other parents that they are going to break as many rules as they can and this person has had her child fake illness, and family emergency's in order to attend other similar mandatory rehearsals for a similar activity that to this day they deny belonging to. And what is even worse is this individual has now convinced a few other parents that they can get away with this behavior too. One bad apple is spoiling the bunch. The truly sad part is this is a WONDERFUL place to belong to but this one person is ruining it for everyone else and THT is in jeopardy of losing several long time dancers who love the art of dancing but are tired of obeying the rules while watching this person get away with lying. If this problem is not addressed soon THT will lose at least 25% of their younger company next year and more will follow.

I've mostly taken Salsa classes there but they offer all sorts of styles: Casino Rueda, Bachata, Merengue, Belly Dancing, Tribal Belly Dancing, Kizomba, Zouk, Aerial Silks, Clogging, Line Dancing, Country Dancing, and more. They have classes for kids and adults. The environment is super friendly and welcoming. They make you feel at home right away. The drop in rate is $12 or $40 a month. In addition to group classes, they also offer private lesson, wedding and quinceañera dances, event venue and floor space rental. Being centrally located, they have students from Norman, Newcastle, Moore, Oklahoma City, Edmond and surrounding areas.

Our daughter has been doing dance classes at Tippi toes for two years, and it has been wonderful…read more She loves it, the instructors are wonderful, and we love the way it is set up. The classes come to the kids at their schools, daycares, mothers-day-outs, or local community centers. For us, it requires almost no extra planning or shuffling. We just send dance clothes with her to her mothers-day-out on her class day, and her teachers get her changed. Classes are downstairs, and last for 45 minutes. If it required another schlep across town, I'm honestly not sure if I could have added it, with my work schedule and my already-busy moving of the children schedule. The way this is set up, she gets to do it, and we get a fun Saturday recital, once in the winter and once at the end of the year. For us, the cost is reasonable. It runs $50 a month, plus the price of the recital costumes, $50, twice per year. She loves it, and we love that she gets to do it, without making me more of a stressed-out mommy. I hope the people running it are making a million dollars because they're so sweet and doing such a good job with our kiddos.
