I have had two surgeries on my feet. First surgery I over paid the Baronne Foot Center by a little…read moreover $900. I was told by my local office in Lafayette to contact the office in Opelousas to discuss billing and the over payment being applied to my account. This over payment was done in 2019. I found out I had this over payment credit from my local office as no one ever contacted me to notify me nor to refund me my money. My second surgery was in Jan 2023. I contacted the Opelousas office again to make sure they would apply the over payment to my outstanding bill for surgery. I spoke both times with Alice who is in charge of billing. I was told that it would be applied. I called back in March as it was still not applied- I had to leave a message. Never got a phone call back. I thin canned again in May and spoke to Alice twice and both times she tells me they still cannot apply my over payment. I stayed they could just refund me what was due to me. All the sudden she says they owe me $600. I asked why? Where did the money go if it could not be applied to my acct? She could not tell me. I asked for a print out of my bills. She stated she could not give me one without the permission if the doctor! She said "if he approves it I will send it." I said, "that will not work I am entitled to a print out of what I've paid Baronne Center." I still have not received any call any email and print outs. Poor derive and word to the wise- make sure you get a print out of what you are paying! I smell fraudulent activity! I Still Want a Print Out Of My Bill.
