And back again with another honest review. This place is literally a joke. I called a week in advance to schedule a safety inspection and oil change tire rotation. They kept hounding me about some coupon so I said why not let's give them another shot. I asked them to specifically check the Yukon Xl out for any safety and mechanical issues and grease the joints in the front suspension as well as oil and tire rotation. Well the very next day after they supposedly said everything was great and no issues, me and my wife with our three kids headed down the road in the freezing weather and snow and the low oil pressure light came on. Immediately shut off in the middle of nowhere. Oil cooler like blew off and there went all the oil. Come to find out it was HOSE CLMAPED on. Had to have it towed to a shop in vermillion and the sheriffs gave my wife and kids a ride home. And here's what they reported. Oil filter was torqued on beyond belief note the excessive oil change cost on the picture below, oil cooler line blew off because of cheap hose clamps instead of being repaired properly, luckily the engine is ok because it was shut off as soon as the oil pressure dropped except everything is coated in oil now, none of the grease zerks had fresh grease, and once again they removed a device plugged into the obd2 port and hid it in the car. (Finally found it buried in my center console) why do they need to remove items without permission and then not tell you where they put them. Literally only brought it in for safety inspection, lube, and tire rotation. No need to mess with anything in the interior. Called the dealership he said he'll escalate this issue and it's been a week and no call from anyone. Poor customer service won't be taking my vehicle back to these untrained "technicians" for anything. read more

They were good and bad to work with. The last time I had new tires put on my van though it was a bad experience. I had an appointment and dropped my van off at 9:00am. They asked when I needed it and I told them 3:00pm. I went to pick it up at 3:00pm and they had not started the work yet. Person I was working with tried to get a manager to talk to me about when it would be done and they waived us off as they went out the door. Came back at 5:00pm and they were still working to get the tires on the van. They made me late for my second job and it made me wonder why I even went to the trouble of scheduling an appointment. read more

Similar key fob story. Ordered one online, brought in at 11am, was told I could come back at 5 to get car... had elderly mom along so asked if it could be done any faster. Told it would take at least a full hour of work. Told them I'll call for an appointment the next time I am in town. Went home and googled.. took me one youtube video, holding 2 buttons, and under 3 minutes to complete myself. Total crooks! read more

Took in to program two new key fobs. Provided all four key fobs for my vehicle. Two brand new that needed programmed and the two fobs I was using at the time. Requested the two "old" fobs back along with the two new fobs. GM only programmed the two new fobs and either did not program or unprogrammed my two old fobs. After service, they no longer work. When I returned requesting GM program the old fobs to work also, I was told they did not belong to my vehicle. Odd i bought from Columbus GM and those were the two fobs given to me at purchase. They were functioning properly when I took to the Norfolk dealership and now they do not work. Dealership wanted to charge me over $200 for new fobs to replace the "old" fobs that were working when I brought into the dealership. They were working and functional the day I took to the dealership. One was cracked and the other didn't have auto start, thus I purchased two new ones to have auto start. I have now gone from four fobs to one (b/c I accidently washed one of the new ones, my fault!). NOT HAPPY AT ALL! Would not recommend nor purchase a vehicle from. :( VERY DISSASTISFIED. read more

Went there to have my car serviced, I thought the price was high payed and left was looking over reciept the next day and discovered they put in the WRONG oil so I had to take time out of my schedule to go back and have oil changed again no hey were sorry heres a free service for next time. The next time I went there to get car serviced they did it again and put the WRONG oil in AGAIN but I caught this before I left when my car was getting washed and when they washed my car they BROKE off the antenna of the top of my car so I had to take time out of my schedule AGAIN to go back and have that replaced no one said hey were sorry for screwing up the last 2 times. Once before all this Todd the service manager said they like to hire the kids from college. So that is there policy hire kids with no experiance to work on vehicles and he insulted me in front of a new service wrighter because I expect things to be done right the first time as in the past they left greasy hand prints on my headliner, visor, door, and dash. A while after the last service I had a low tire the dash said so I added air and discovered they did not reset the tire sensors again so IHAD TO GO BACK AGAIN Do your self a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Unless you want to be insulted and have to go back to have the work redone. I WILL NOT go back there again!!!!! P.S. I have 1 star as Yelp wont let me give no stars. read more

Worst place to purchase a vehicle!! Purchased a 2014 GMC Sierra in June. Not even a month later one of my lifters collapsed and they wanted to charge me $5000!!!!!! Im a GM guy and it's dealers like that make me want to switch and get me a ford Definitely would not recommend that place. read more

Great sales department-Horrible service department! Appointment was at 1 to simply change an SD card. Finally at 2 I asked about the status, they hadn't looked at it yet. Another 20 minutes before it was finished. Had trouble in the past with an oil change and inspection saying brakes were good when in fact they were worn out. They said they don't take off the wheels to check them-then why does the inspection sheet say they're good? Also overfilled the engine oil-bulk oil machine was never calibrated. Worst car dealership. Recently bought a vehicle from them and before I even took it home the blower fan for the heater went out. I then had to bring it back 2 times, both times taking off time for work, to have it fixed. Once it was fixed I had to go back another 2 times because the dual climate control did not work properly, again having to take time off work. About a month later I noticed the passenger floor board was wet. I took my vehicle to my local body man who informed me that the vehicle must have had previous hail damage because he could tell the roof, drivers door & front panel had been replaced which I had no knowledge of. After spending money fixing this problem I then heard a weird noise going down the highway and took it to a mechanic. I found out that the bearing on the drive shaft needs to be replaced. With the make of vehicle I have you have to replace the whole drive shaft which costs almost $1000 and they also told me my rear end seals were leaking and that I had no oil in the rear end even though Norfolk GM told me they checked all fluids. This could not have happened in the few months that I have owned it. I contacted them multiple times and they told me they will not fix it because they feel they did nothing wrong. This place is a waste of time and money. I will never come back and would rather spend a little more money on someone who actually cares about their customers. read more

Took my car in for a oil change. They said it would 1 1/2 hours. It needed done. So I waited. 3 hours went by and I finally had enough, went to find a service associate. He says, "oh, it's been done for quit a while." Paid for the bill, which I though was high. Then a service guy came after me for a free oil change card. No done yet. A few days later I go out to get in this car and a huge puddle of oil is under it. I took it to a local small town mechanic. He found that the oil pan plug had been stripped out and that is why I lost all the oil. To make matters worse I had to replace the whole oil pan because of the stripped plug. Cost me 6X's what the original oil change cost. Anyway I went back to Norfolk Auto Center to ask if they would cover this extra bill because of there negligence. The service Manager came of with a duplicate bill with a Notation of the pan would have to be replaced. Which I was never informed of at the time of the service. And it was in a different colored INK that the rest of the notations on the bill. Yes. You guessed it. They won't cover their own FUCK up. I will I Never, ever step foot in Norfolk Auto Center again. And I will let all my family and friends know what a POS place this is and never go there to buy a new, used car or any kind of business with them. They will Rip you off. read more

I love this place. They get me right in. They will pick up my vehicle from work and bring it back when they are done. When I drop off my car they always give me a ride or even a loaner vehicle. I am always treated very well. read more
