Well the place was mess but it was busy so it's a little understandable that there may be clothes everywhere. But obvious the crew hates working there. Two different workers pushed pass me without even an excuse me. I mean how was I in their way when I'm just shopping? At the store they work at? The cherry on top was the bathrooms. Literally feces on the wall and every trash was overflowing. Other ladies were waiting to use the handicap stall because the other toilets were covered in urine and toilet paper. I've gone to several Nordstrom Racks but this one is definitely a NO return for me! Lets start of with walking in and asking where the shopping carts are located since there wasn't any in view. The employee walked outside, returned inside and stated there is one outside! Ok, well you could have brought it inside and would have been thanked! I continued to enter the store and observed that this store is in a complete disarray! I walked towards the back where the designer shoes are located and the place is a complete dump! There is clothes everywhere and shoes all over the floor. I'm completely shocked that even though this is a Rack and not an actual Nordstrom store it is kept the way it is. Definitely had a different experience than Susie E. at this location. Maybe she's just not a very pleasant person and holds businesses to unreasonable standards. Or maybe I just lucked up and ran into an amazing employee. Whatever the cause for disparity may be- the person in charge of perusing these Yelp reviews needs to write this down: Derrick needs a raise, or promotion, or a huge pat on the f***ing back. As soon as I started aimlessly wandering around the men's section looking for a suit, Derrick appeared like somebody just rubbed the "I have no idea what the hell I'm doing here, pls halp" genie lamp. And then gave me his undivided attention while he morphed into my personal stylist for the next 45 minutes. The man's customer service was unparalleled. Checking out was also quick and painless. This was my first time here, but it definitely won't be my last. And Nordstrom's Rack has Derrick to thank for that. read more

If you're looking for a place that looks like tornado ran through it several times and offers horrible customer service then look no further. Went to pick up an order with a little one in tow. The line to pick up an order is the same line for returns as well. So if you wanted to order pick up for burbank don't even bother. The line had more than 20 people in it..I spoke with a female manager and explained that I only wanted to do a pick up and that I had no returns like the 99% of the customers did. Always packed and poorly organized, but there are good finds to be had if you have the time. I've been here a few times and am always so overwhelmed by the layout that I leave empty-handed. That said, they have a great shoe selection and good deals on Calvin Klein underthings if that's what you're in the market for. I'm really surprised at the fact that no one has yelped about this place yet.... I'm even more so surprised that online, this place doesn't even exist anywhere! (Not even on Google or Nordstrom.com) How weird is that? Being the opportunist that I am....I'm gonna be the first to rate this place!!! More first to review for me!!! If you ever been to Nordstrom Rack, then you know exactly how the store is...(very similar to stores such as TJ MAXX, Marshalls, Ross, etc except it's running on the high end side of the spectrum) So since it's only been about a week since they have opened, it was super hard to even find a parking spot. Good thing that with my Vegas training (finding spots in the casino parking structures are wonderful learning experiences) I was able to locate a spot pretty quickly and effectively. So once the car was parked our party proceed into the store... (Do remember though that since this is here now, parking spaces will now become more scarce) The layout of the place is simple.. clothing section in the front (Men's to the left and the Gals to the right... actually, correction... Men's in the left little corner, Gals all over the store!!! That's how fair it is here at Nordstrom Rack! 20% men and 80% Women) Then the Shoe section towards the back... (This time is more even... 35% Men and 65% Women) Some of the listed product brands includes Joe's Jeans, Seven for Mankind, Nike, Cole Haan, Tory Burch, Adidas, True Religion, Clarks, Movado, Victorinox, DKNY, etc... There is definitely a brand for everyone and anyone! There are always deals to be had depending what you consider as a deal. Nordstrom products are typically higher in cost so if you look at it that way then you definitely got a bargain... some shoes were fairly priced but many of them are still out of our reach... The accessories counter here is super tiny! Other Nordstrom Rack has quite a bit of accessories in their counters but this one literally has just 2 simple glass counters.. very small with extremely limited selections of items... Service was so-so because probably due to the high volume of foot traffic. So maybe I can update this place in the future when I decide to buy something here... So the final verdict about this place... it's Nordstrom Rack, pretty good stuff but you must take your time and really do the shopping game (which may take quite a few hours of your day so be prepared) But I personally would probably check out other Nordstrom Racks first because there are much more styles and products to choose from compared to this one... so I will not fight with everyone for the parking space and head on over to the one in Canoga Park instead.... I accidentally stumbled across this location the second day they were open and oh what a fabulous stumble it was. Racks and racks of killer merchandise at super duper marked down prices. The boots were out of control and I actually ended up buying three pairs because I simply couldn't narrow them down to one that I liked best. Their sweater sections were on point and i bought 3 of them that have all received compliments every time I wear them. I think since it was just opening, it was still a pristine place that was totally organized. For some reason 3 stars looks like a bad review but I promise (at least in my case) it isn't! I used to be a Ross type of shopper because I'm sure its pretty noticeable that they carry virtually the same products -Ross is just less expensive and not as neat. But the bf likes to shop there of course I tag along and like all girls: get hooked on shopping. I hate but I love that no matter whether or not I'm looking for something to buy, I always do haha. My reasons for a 3 instead of 5 star rating are because its much smaller than several of the other Nordstrom Racks I shop at and that means less selection. The other reason being the long lines -yes, I know that everywhere will have long lines at one point or another but here, its always long. :( I guess thats a good thing for them though, means business is good! But this location still has all of the important things such as good customer service, big parking lot (who likes to spend more time searching for a parking spot then shopping??), and its clean. I had searched far and wide for a fabulous dress with a decent price and scored a gem at the rack. Unfortunately, someone has smeared ink all over it!! I was so distraught! The lady in the dressing room said to check out the lady in the alterations department and she was a miracle! Seriously worked some magic with hand sanitizer and water and VOILA!!! the dress was perfect and like new in 10 minutes FOR FREE (I tipped her of course! A cleaner would have charged $20 easily!). With an extra 25% off, my perfectly in tact dress was $30. The others on the rack were ringing up $178. all thanks to a little stain and some quick thinking from Angela!!! Depending on what you expect from Nordstrom Racks you will either really like this place or not. Personally, I don't like the selection/quality in this place because it doesn't carry too many high end things. I go to Nordstrom Rack to find high end designers (i.e. Tory Burch, Milly, Kate Spade, etc.). Not low end Calvin Klein dresses..... I did spot a gorgeous Valentino purse but it was to expensive for me to take home. Shoes are hit or miss. Jeans here are okay...but lacking in diversity. Compared to my favorite Nordstrom Racks (South Coast and Topanaga Canyon) this place is horrrrrrrible. In fact I think that the Glendale Rack is a HUGE step up from this place. read more

From the outside this place looks like it could be 2 or 3 stories. But this one level brightly lit store offers just as much merchandise as any multi-story department store. I came in to gander at their sportswear and they did not disappoint. They had a healthy selection of running and workout shoes that was neatly organized, and they also had a great section of clearance workout clothes. I was able to find a some really cute shoes and a matching top. The kid shoe section was an eyesore. But there was a large selection. The bathrooms were clean which was a plus. The lines were a bit long and slow. But customer service was great. I had a very friendly and cheery cashier who complimented my purchase. This is the closest Nordstrom Rack and it's pretty legit. read more

Here's the dil with tha Rack: If you don't mind striking out half the time, and the other half finding something you really dig, then this place works. It is similar to a thrift shop in that respect, except more organized and everything is new, obviously. Problem is, if you're like me, you'll most likely need to get whatever you buy tailored. They offer in house tailoring which I personally have never taken advantage of as I usually go to Milt and Edies on Pass Ave. in Burbank for all my tailoring. Now, if we're talkin shoes, another story my friends! This being overstock from Nordstrom they have some awesome brand name shoes here, very cheap. I have gotten several pairs of Madden and some other italian brands for 40-80 bucks, marked down from the mid 100's to 200's. Short and sweet: I visit here about once a month with my current list of what clothing/shoe items I need and check if they have it at a great price before I go and visit the main shops. I love the cosmetics section when putting together a basket of gifts for a friend and/or searching for quality stocking stuffers. Great prices on Stila and OPI products. The clothes are kinda hit or miss, but with some patience (and luck) I have scored deals on cocktail dresses, athletic wear, and the lingerie department has a reliable selection of Calvin Klein undergarments. Overall, a neat, well-run store compared to the madness that is Marshall's next door, and definitely a step above TJ Maxx. The prices also reflect this reality. read more

Yuck, I am confused and baffled by the fact this Nordstrom Rack has 4 stars while the Canoga Park location has three. This place was small, dirty and had inferior product to the other Nordstrom Racks I have been too. A lot of the clothes I encountered were returns and badly used ones -- they should of been off the rack. In the make up area, a lot of items were open and missing components. I am bewildered by the fact people like this place. Very sad!!! read more

Makeup & Perfume hauls weekly - check here regularly because sometimes they even unload the likes of MAC cosmetics or Urban Decay... they will always have Burt's Bee's and TIGI, but look out for the MAC! The shoes are always fantastic - I always come here to get my flats, and for $39.99, I am only paying $10 more than for flats at Target, and I am wearing Nine West, or Jessica Simpsons! When I came last week there was a huge load of fresh designers. The key is to come here, and come often. To be honest, Nordstrom Rack can be a hit or miss venture depending on the season you're shopping for; but if you're looking for a cheap swimsuit, hit them up in early spring for their discounts - and if you're looking for a shoe sale, check their website for the latest and greatest details. I usually go during lunch at work, so the store isn't busy at all; but I've been in on the weekends and this location can get fairly packed (consider yourselves warned, haha). If you frequent Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom, I'd suggest getting a Nordstrom's card - you can rack up points and them get $20 off of your next purchase! read more

Great selection of Italian made sunglasses! Great selection of women's clothing too! The store seemed pretty clean and well organized which I liked. Purchased a nice pair of Tod's Sunglasses which were made in Italy. They were super cute and purple too (my favorite color). They originally were $350, but got them only for $99. Not all Nordstrom Rack locations are created equally. But I will definitely stop by this Nordstrom Rack location again as it seemed to have pretty decent selection of merchandise. read more

The best advice I can give you is to NEVER EVER EVER wait until the last minute and come here on Christmas eve day. I came here and it was an entire mess. It was so crowded that I kept being bumped into by rude smelly people. I was about to leave but I saw this really cute top that I liked and I had to have it. This new store opened a couple months ago and it is the nicest one that I have been to so far. Originally, I went to the Glendale store and that is a zoo. The one off Madre by Bed, Bath and Beyond and Old Navy is probably my second favorite. The women's department is the biggest of course with lots of nice clothes, lingerie, accessories and shoes. The children's section and men's are pretty small, but OK.. It is right near Target, Michael's, Best Buy, Lowe's and Great Indoors among others. Lots of good restaurants in this shopping center as well like Sbarro, Daphne's, Home Town Buffet and a rather nice Game Stop. read more

OMG! BEST Nordstrom Rack in LA County as far a I'm concerned! The biggest...the cleanest...the least crowded and the best selections! A nice variety for jewelry, home goods, accessories, clothing (including athletic apparel), intimates and of course SHOES! The staff here is consistently good enough, never grumpy and always helpful. Nordstrom Rack is the expensive version of a Marshall's. Of course, with the price increases, you have way better selection of clothing and shoes. They even have a cosmetics and beauty section that actually resembles a small beauty shop. NARS, It's a 10, Ardell...are just some of the brands they carry. One could truly spend about five hours in here looking at all stuff. They have a great selection of shoes and athletic apparel! The store itself is clean and very organized. It was my first time at this particular location and it was okay. The selection is average and the store was relatively clean; granted, I was there when it opened. I don't really have much to say. It was one of those neither here nor there experiences. I did find a great formal dress for $99. It was a Tadashi Shoji dress that goes for $400 so pretty good deal. I also found a Free People sweater top for $25 (on clearance) and a super cute army-like jacket for $45. I'll give it another try and perhaps update my review then. read more
