It is between Tonhalle/Ehrenhof / Schadowstraße / Nordstraße and Steinstraße/Königsallee / Benrather Straße. The station consists of a mezzanine and two platform levels. The upper platform level has two island platforms serving four tracks, while the lower level has one island platform and two tracks. There is free transfer between all platforms inside the station. There is an illuminated sign indicating how long until the next train to arrive. There is no audible announcement. There is also a map and a timetable on the platform. Because there are three different lines here, be sure you board the correct one! The station is on both sides of the intersection of Steinstraße and Kaiserstraße, which made me a little uncomfortable. There is almost no protection from an errant vehicle making the turn. On the plus side, the Kaiserstraße platform has an actual spot to stand and wait. The Steinstraße side is simply the sidewalk. The station is next to the Spielplatz park so you'll have some greenery to admire while you wait. There is no ticket kiosk here - you buy your ticket on the tram.
