Nordstraße is an excellent underground station. Decent markings at street level so you can find it. An escalator from the ticketing concourse to the platform level. If there is an elevator, I didn't see it. There are ticket kiosks on the concourse, but I couldn't tell you how they work as my friend Klaus-Dieter https://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=20feP72XEMJ91ADQZsNRyg kindly paid for our fare today.
Nordstraße serves lines U78 and U79 of the Rhine-Ruhr Stadtbahn. It is between Victoriaplatz/Klever Straße (towards Merkur Spiel-Arena/Messe Nord) and Heinrich-Heine-Allee (towards Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof).
There is an illuminated sign indicating how long until the next four trains to arrive. There is no audible announcement. There is also a map and a timetable on the platform. In November 2021, masks are required when riding on any metro transport.
