Their retro decor immediately caught my eye and I knew if they gave haircuts even 1/2 as awesome as their decor, I'd be fine. I was NOT disappointed and was left with an amazing cut. Even some ladies in LA asked me where I got my hair cut when I went back a couple of months later. I went back there again this time and got my haircut by Kaisa, who is an amazing person. It cost about 110 euros for the highlights and cut. That's decently priced and I am beyond happy with my hair. I keep getting compliments from people on it which is always nice. Thanks Kaisa!! :)

I got the best touch-up I've ever had (NOT KIDDING), the best scalp massage I've ever had, and the nicest most personable service I've ever had from Maya. She is the very best! I went in with a color blend issue from my last root job and she found a way, without bleach or a dryer, to make me all one color again. All for around €30. I almost had the good kind of heart attack and I would have hugged her but restrained myself. Unika is very nice inside, everyone who works there is incredibly helpful and nice, and they have tons of products. Being pregnant and bloated, I went in feeling like Grendel and left feeling like a whole new person. I will be back until Maya is not there anymore. And then I will go wherever she does. During my tenure in Helsinki, Michelle Sujballi did my hair-colour, highlights, and beaded weft hair extensions. Her work was perfect. My blonde hair colour was bright and dimensional. My hair extensions were always perfectly maintained. In fact, Michellle S's "blonde whispering" was better than some of West Hollywood's best! She was also warm, kind and exceptionally funny. During this time, I also had my eyebrows coloured and threaded here. The woman (her name eludes me atm for some reason) who provided these services was also top notch. She worked with my face shape, natural brows, and expectations. My brows were always well-coloured and groomed-the former can be quite a challenge for a double process blonde! Colours International was always bright, lively, and a comfy destination for English speaking expats, as most of the staff originally hailed from destinations abroad. Based on my significant experience with this salon, I cannot recommend them enough! The prices were also very reasonable for the services provided and city centre location (a short walk to and from Kamppi shopping & bus station).

I was impressed on my last visit when they for example had 5 different sparkling wines (2 champagnes, 1 prosecoo, 1 cava and 1 cremant) by the glass, prices ranging from €7 to €14. Most of the wines are ecological and while they are not fanatical about it they strive to have mostly ecological but most importantly good wines. The staff are very knowledgeable and very happy to chat about the wines. They also serve some cheese and charcuteries to go with the wine. The space is a bit weird as they share it with a hair salon but it is an efficient use of the space. It does however work best when it is a bit dark as it otherwise is very visible that the furniture is a bit worn. Still a nice place f glass of wine or more.

Especially if you consider coming here during the weekend try to be early. The place doesn't have too many seats and it get's crowded here pretty fast. I managed to get in only after the fourth try.
