My actual rating would be ZERO stars, i had to push 1 star to post, and its not even a 1 star...After researching preschools in the area, Noahs ark preschool, based out of the luthern church in Cambridge, i decided to send my 3 yr old there this past September. Curriculum and staff seemed well qualified and it worked well with my schedule. 3 weeks into dropping my son off, i had dropped him off and he was crying when i left, didnt want me to go. I waited outside the door to the classroom to wait til he calmed down. Insted, i got an ear full of verbal abuse the head director who was talking between classrooms to anyother teacher, her daughter. Right in front of my crying child she called him an inconceivable little brat who doesnt get told the word "No" and suffers from parenting issues. She not once made him feel welcomed or safe. I then went immediately into the classroom, picked my son up and told her what b i had heard. She did not apologize nor felt any regret but insisted on telling me how obnoxious my child was. A week before he was getting over being sick, i said if he had an issues to call me. I also overheard her say he cried for two hours that same day i told her he wasnt feeling himself. She neglected to tell me this. I was angered and totally disgusted and left with telling her, lucky for HIM, hes not your problem. No way would i ever subject my child to a place where he gets neglected and verbally abused, by a so called accredited preschool. This was the first timw i brought my son to be watched by somone other than family and i am strongly offended and outraged by this grown women. If anyone were to ask me where to set up daycare or preschool, i would strongly advise against Noahs Ark, no child or parent should ever get treated that way, its suppose to be a safe enviroment to leave your child. NO mother should ever feel the way i did hearing another person talk bad about theur child while the child is right there. Disgraceful, dishonest and down right WRONG. There are plenty of preschools in cambridge area. Id suggest checking thoose out before ever considering this preschool. read more
