At 47yrs old and with no driving experience at all from the 1st lesson Saj my instructor put me at complete ease, boosted my confidence and made me believe I could do this! He made learning very easy with his years of experience and knowledge even taking time to make little sketches of maneuvers which helped immensely. So within 2 short months Saj had taught me to drive, helped me pass the theory test and ultimately pass my practical 1st time!!! I can't thank him enough! Driving did not come easily to me at all, and I felt very anxious on the road when I first took lessons with Jeanette, even with numerous hours of lessons with a number of other instructors under my belt prior to this. She easily managed to get my through my driving test on my first attempt after taking lessons with her with only two minors and I can't thank her enough. After passing my test I didn't drive for two years and was really struggling with driving again so I booked in a refresher lesson with Jeanette. I cannot believe the difference it has made to me. After only an hour and a half of instruction my driving is noticeably smoother and I feel much more confident and relaxed. Her calm, non-judgmental approach works absolute wonders. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeanette and Elevate Driving School.

I've never been an amazing driver, and 6 years of not driving at all between living in Canada and moving to the UK left me wondering if I even remembered how to do it. I'd been managing on public transport, but the time came to get a car, sparking a panic about actually driving it. After multiple failed attempts to book lessons with other companies, I stumbled across Result. I emailed about lessons on a Saturday, saying I was in work and couldn't take calls, so they texted me back. Point number one in their favour! I asked for a refresher lesson the next Saturday, and they said fine, and that the instructor would text me to arrange the time. Within an hour, Abdul had texted and arranged to meet the next Saturday afternoon. He was very encouraging, even via text. Abdul arrived slightly early (more brownie points) and we went to a quiet area to begin. He ran over some basics before starting and then off we went. He's super calm, and I learned things I had never been taught before, and found that my clutch control was better than ever after just half the lesson! I asked if we could do more, and he said we'd do a bit of parking in lesson 2. He again found a time that suited me, and arrived early. Again, I learned new (and better) ways of doing things. Added bonuses were getting advice on which car to buy, and what to avoid (so useful) and great tips and tricks to make driving life easier. I had read about driving schools trying to upsell and tell people they needed lots of lessons, but he was the opposite and told me I'll be fine! I really respect that integrity, and am so grateful for all the increased confidence he gave me. The standard rate is £22/hr and it's worth every penny. Thanks to Abdul and Results for taking a huge weight off my shoulders. Thoroughly recommend, without hesitation!

When i first started taking lessons I used a few private instructors, which i have to say didn't suit me at all. I believe going with a specific driving school like the AA is the most beneficial way of doing it, for me it gave me more confidence and made me believe that they just have a higher level of training ( that is my personal opinion though ). I would say for anybody reading this! I urge you to book with AA and request Richard Bailey as your instructor! I assure you, you wont go wrong.
