Fun place to stop by for tastings of wine from all over the state of New Mexico (NM). NM Vintage Wine is in a 1950s adobe building in Old Mesilla. Their patio is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a glass (or more of wine). Our hostess was very knowledgeable in wine and was able to steer us to tastes based on our preferences. I chose a Pick 3 wine flight - The Demigoddess Chardonnay, Vino Unidos Blanco, and Moo-uy Sauv-y (their Cowbelle Wines Brand Sauvignon blanc - definitely my favorite!). There are plenty of red options as well as hard ciders, spirits, and beer. NM Vintage Wines supports other NM businesses so their snacks are also from the state. We got the red chile caramel popcorn. Cute little spot just off the main park. The waitress was knowledgeable and helpful, and the patio was comfortable and inviting. I had a flight of 3 wines and they were all delicious. There's only one bathroom in the whole place and it's very small. It's also shared with the keg closet so it's just really difficult to use. read more

Went to this place to try some wine. I had the Moscato which I have to say was one of the best ones I have tasted. My daughter had the Santa fest and she said it was really good as well. The outside patio was really relaxing although it was quite chilly. Definitely a good wine bar but the service was a one star . The hostess told us how to go and scan the QR code for the menu and she would be out to get our order. We did the code saw what we wanted and waited.... And waited....and waited finally my daughter went to go make the order inside. Wine came and we sat for a while. She finally came out and asked if we wanted anything else and my daughter asked for one of the cigars. She said she would be back and we waited ....and waited finally again had to go inside to get the cigar and pay out. This is a lovely patio with a nice selection of drinks (they have Tractor's Blood Orange cider for my cider-drinking peeps). They have a few little snacky things on site, but you can also order food to be delivered from nearby La Posta if you are really hungry. They often have live music in the evenings on the patio. Only real compliant is the ladies' restroom is kinda yuck. read more

So this place. It's fairly unique. It has wine, so that's good. They have a couple of cigars also she you can go outside and smoke. This spot usually has some good music on Saturday abs it seems like the locals come out to hang. It appears they are expanding the patio so that's a plus. I love this place. As a wine lover, they have so much to offer! They have an endless list of red and white wines, beers, and a variety of cigars! My favorite is the black beauty and rose wine. It is a small place but the outside patio is beautiful with New Mexico colors flowing throughout the area. Lots of cute decor and serape blankets on each seat. It's a cool place to relax, and enjoy each other's company. It's such a great place for a date night out or a casual group hang out. This place is one of the go-tos for drinks! A relaxing old Mexico vibe in a cozy space in Old Mesilla. Much higher recommendation than some of the more familiar places on the town plaza. Oh and cozy = small interior and small courtyard. They are currently in the process of expanding the patio. That will be nice because the wife and I have gone passed many nights and thought about popping in. But it seemed packed. Live music often in the open air on a cool New Mexico evening sounds lovely. Wines are from everywhere...but always try the locals. The staff is knowledgeable about them. Do a flight tasting. Sit a spell and enjoy the comfortable space. Yeah, they have beers. But c'mon, it's called Vintage WINES. Take advantage of the variety all in one place. Trivia night on Wednesday finally brought us out. I will admit the trivia is tough. My son and I attended a lot of trivia nights in Houston and though they weren't super easy, this one is a dilly! They have some noms and the cheese and fruit tray was a nice snack while we enjoyed the evening and a goblet of vino. read more

Vintage was recommended to us from another nearby winery (Rio Grande Vinyard). With a small interior and small outdoor patio (but very pretty), Vintage is just slightly off the main Mesilla square. The bartender was very friendly and nice. The wine comes in small colored glasses. I prefer traditional wine glasses but hey it def fit the area. I tried one of the Larossa wines and didn't particularly care for it but that's not Vintage's fault. Vintage also has a nice selection of local wines. In fact we saw several from the two wineries we had been to earlier that day. They also have a nice selection of cigars should you be in the mood for a smoke with your wine or beer. If you are looking to sit outside but have some shade while enjoying a glass of wine then Vintage can definitely scratch that itch. read more

Vintage Wines is a great place to relax on the patio and enjoy southwest wines. It's in a pueblo style adobe that looks like it's 200 years old. The staff was friendly and informative. They allow pets. They sell all of the wines they serve by the bottle as well as cigars. We did the $5 wine flight which included 3 shooters of wine. They were all very different than the Napa wines I usually drink. It was fun to try them. I would definitely go back again. read more

My friend and I were driving across country & accidentally came across this jewel. We fell in love with place. The owner (can't remember her name) was super friendly & made us feel like we were old friends of hers. We had a wine flight & a cheese, crackers, fruit plate that were delicious. All of the wines are from New Mexico. I am from California & I had no idea that New Mexico had such great wines! I ended up purchasing a bottle of Cabernet & gave it to my girlfriend for her birthday. She loved it. The prices are ridiculously reasonable. The place itself is awesome. I loved the decor. There's a really nice patio too. Unfortunately the day we went it was way too cold to sit outside. I plan on coming back & listening to live music when the weather is nice. This update is in response to the business owner, Morgan S's comments to my original review. Comments which coincidentally were posted at the same time a Morgan S posted a five star review to this business. First: As I did originally describe, it was mostly foam and we didn't chug the beers, so yes it took many small sips to finish what little beer was there. Second: The beers may be exclusive to select markets, but the flavors certainly were nothing special (nor good). Again, customers can taste those flavors in most any other beer. Third: One man did come in for a brief minute to purchase a cigar, then he sat outside on the patio to smoke it. In his absence at the bar, yes your hostess was just as I initially described, rude. Your surveillance footage must not have audio. She begrudgingly stood there with us, but couldn't do her job to describe what exactly she was peddling. This is why she tossed the other menu on the bar. I stand by my original rating. Particularly when the owner follows up comments to a low review with their own fake five-star review. It shows your lacking business ethic. read more
