For instance, I found some "Melissa & Doug" toys and ended up buying one for an upcoming birthday present. It was a rug with a race track laid out on it and it came with four race cars. We have two family members currently into gnomes and this shop had a lot of variety in the gnome department. One we purchased was a girl gnome because it had pigtails. I had not seen that before. Another we purchased was a "soft" gnome. Both will be gifts when we get back home.

I was already done Christmas shopping but still managed to spend $165 in this store. All of the people who work there were very friendly and helpful. When the gal rang me out at the cash register she said what they have in stock changes every week. One of the items I looked at was a really nice jacket, I did not buy it because they did not have my daughter size but when I looked at it I expected the price to be about $80 and it was 42 so there were good prices in this store. They had clothes, shoes, and socks. They had hats and scarves. As for the honey parked in the name of the store they have a bunch of different flavors of honey. The day that I was in the shop they had a special going that I assume was for Christmas. If you spent a certain amount of money you got to spin the wheel for a prize or get a sweatshirt or sleep pants. On this day they also had cookies and snacks and hot chocolate. I will definitely return here to check out the new items that they have in their store.

She pays attention not just to what makes a statement , is in style, but also is feasible to wear. They're light and comfortable. Literally can wear them all day in my ears that I formerly thought of as sensitive. That's not all that I buy, of course, my closet is also full. If the last time you were in the shop was in 2017 or earlier, it has new owners and you need to pop back in. More variety, more options, and MORE SIZES! If you are plus size, there is a WHOLE SECTION FOR YOU! AND the owner is very good at know what in the "standard" section is stretchy, loose, baggy, oversized, etc. enough to fit you. There is even home decor now. And candles. And they smell amazing and last. So if you lament that there is no "Hallmark" type store around, use Denim&Honey (and Crafts&Occasions depending on the age demographic you're buying for) as your resource for that. Also, do yourself a favor and smell the Denim and Honey custom scent from Bass Farms. It's such the perfect neutral smell. Even the men in my life enjoy it. And grab up a few of the $6 sets that include a lotion, hand sanitizer, and chap stick. They make the perfect little gift when you need "a little something". Pop in, LOOK around, you won't be disappointed.

I had never noticed them before today, so I decided to stop by and see what they had. The variety is pretty broad considering the size of the place. There were candles, bags and accessories, singing birthday cards, and knick knacks. We were staying in a nearby cabin for the weekend when I realized I'd forgotten to pack a candle from home (yes...I'm one of those people ). We stopped in hoping to grab one, and I'm so glad we did. The shop itself is absolutely adorable--bright, organized, and full of incredible scents. Mandy hand-pours every candle herself, and narrowing down my choices was honestly the hardest part of the visit. Whether you like fresh, fruity, bakery, floral, seasonal, or woodsy scents, there's something here for everyone. The real test came once we got back to the cabin. I lit one that evening, and it burned beautifully. No tunneling, no overwhelming perfume smell--just a clean, even burn with a fragrance that filled the room without overpowering it. Exactly what I was hoping for. I also picked up a few of the handmade fire starters (sadly Mother Nature had other plans, and the hot, muggy weather meant no campfire this trip), so I'm already looking forward to trying those next time. One of the coolest things in the shop is Mandy's collaboration with a local potter. You can purchase one of the handmade pottery vessels and have your candle poured directly into it, creating a one-of-a-kind piece that's both functional and beautiful. But honestly, what made this stop memorable wasn't just the candles. Take a few minutes to chat with Mandy and Andrew. They're incredibly welcoming, genuinely kind, and the kind of people who make you feel like you've known them longer than the ten minutes you've been standing in their shop. Those conversations are what make small businesses so special. Needless to say, I left with more candles than I originally planned... ...and absolutely zero regrets. Downtown Nashville is full of cute little unique shops around every corner. One of my favorite…read moreshops is Lakehouse Candle Company, a place that specializes in candles and scented items. This is a woman-owned business, and it offers hand-crafted candles created with quality ingredients, all made with care and attention. I visited for their Pour & Restore event, which had us creating our own candle, and then enjoying a gentle yoga session in the candle shop. During the Pour & Restore event, we first got to walk around and sniff all of the candles to figure out what we wanted our candle to smell like. I like natural scents, so I chose a herbaceous, clean scent. Then, we were led through a candle-making demonstration, where we got to mix our scent, pour our own candle, and come up with a name for our new scented candle. (I chose ILY, because that combination of letters is significant to me!) While we waited for the candles to set, we were led through a restorative yoga session right there in the store. It was a wonderful experience to lie on the mat and breathe in the warm and fragrant scents that were all around us. I was lucky to participate in the inaugural Pour & Restore event at Lakehouse, but if they offer this again and you have to opportunity, I highly recommend attending! Doing yoga in a candle store is way more relaxing than I could have imagined. And even if you don't do yoga here, you need to stop in and check out the candles. There are so many wonderful scents!

My children love wearing wacky socks, so I got them each a pair: skeletons and rainbow dogs. For Bare Feet Too is a great place to find the perfect pair of socks for the sock-loving or feet-having people in your life. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. In a sea of socks, she knows what she has and what she doesn't. She was also nice to chat with as she rang me up. The socks themselves are really good quality, and the price is moderate. Most of the socks are in the $12 to $18 range, but I did see some socks that were slightly less (and a few slightly more). Outside, there is a cart with discounted socks, if you're looking for a bargain.

And in less than 2 minutes I have 3 beautiful well fitting jackets to compare. No hassle, didn't need to try on dozens or dig through racks, she was spot on with all three options.
