This is a beautiful tobacconist with the customer service and knowledge to match! In the past 25+…read moreyears I have been to hundreds of cigar shops around the world and only a very few are on par with Macanudo in Copenhagen. I visited their fine shop a couple months ago and received great service from Mette. It is always a pleasure getting to speak cigars with someone as knowledgeable as she is. I was fortunate enough to come on a slow rainy day and they still had two boxes of the Ramon Allones King of North remaining. I was tempted to purchase both but didn't have the heart to deprive some other cigar enthusiast. Along with the box I purchased several singles from the RyJ Oro ligne and Trinidad's. Their humidor is immaculate with a perfect RH. Mette showed me around their well ventilated smoking lounge downstairs and asked if I wanted to indulge. If I were not on a tight schedule I would have loved to smoke a good cigar there. This two month long trip took me to 20+ tobacconists in a dozen countries and Macanudo by far had the best selection of Habanos during thepandemic shortage. This is truly a world class tobacconist and well worth visiting!

When walking through the town square the first time, sadly this store was closed. However, just…read morebefore heading back to the station to return to Denmark, I had wanted to come back and see if they were open. I'm glad I did. I had wanted to find something unique, but local to take back as gifts. It's very rare to find hand made things anymore, so when I saw this store's specialty was hand painted clogs, I got excited. There's definitely nothing like this where I live. The clogs were all wooden with leather, and all hand painted. The owner was very friendly and I'm sure he was surprised to meet someone all the way from Hawaii in his shop. I found the perfect pair of clogs for my daughter, and these should last a long time. I saw a customer come in with a pair of clogs to repair. Evidently, the shop will fix up a pair you bought years ago. Cool! In addition to clogs, they also sold Dalahäst (Dalecarlian) horses, which come from the province of Dalarna, and are famous and a symbol of Sweden now. No two are alike, as they are all hand carved and painted. They were pricey, but I would pay for the quality and knowing I had a unique hand crafted product, instead of a cheap knock off mass produced in China. They made for great stories and gifts. This is another store in which I look forward to visiting again in the future. Who knows, maybe in a few years I may be able to bring my clogs in to be repaired.

Nice, small businesses located randomly on a random side street…read more Their books and "desktop" are organized into the sections according genres. The bookkeeper is a nice smiley young woman with a good overview of books. There is small table and armchair, so you can start reading book there. They also offer coffee (I didn't try it, so can't write about taste). I bought a few Danish books for my daughter. She loves them. Prices are good and if you buy a lot you can get discount. So if you are at the nearby park, why not go there and get a book!

I told him I didn't want anything expensive but he said it's not everyday he gets to get me something from our travels together, without the kids. I walked in, agreeing with him that he had a point. The place is immaculate and they're pretty hands off with when we're looking around. However, once my husband was ready to pick something out, we had a lady help us. I sat down the entire time and was not interested in picking anything out. I wanted my husband to decide on his own. We left there with a beautiful green piece of amber necklace that I wore the rest of my trip in Copenhagen. I was just pleased with how hands off they were and how the service was just wonderful. The prices were also reasonable for what you get and now we have something to remember from our trip.

His store is perfectly situation in Vesterbro among cute coffee shops and boutique stores.
