The shrimp still had the tails attached which is something I'm still not used to, so if you're ordering anything with shrimp in it be sure to double-check before chewing. I'm not a big fan of Italian but it was OK, probably much more expensive than it needs to be - I think we paid almost R$200 just for the risotto. If you're craving Italian it's probably worth a visit.

Ok I am from Dallas, Texas and a foodie. So here it comes finally. I do not write too many reviews…read morebut on this restaurant and their location I had to write fir Vitoria, ES, Brazil. So far the most creative Sushi and Shashimi you would experience out in Esprito Santos. Owner Vicenzo and Roberto have done great job with chef Matheus and his wife who is head server. Just tell them you want special rolls and you will be treated like a royalty. Fish is like just caught and cut. Very very high quality. You must tell them that you need wasabi and Ginger bit more as it is not a big tredition in Brazil to serve that. Also please try their special hot sauce. It is not spicy but has lots of flavor. I ate last year every night in February 2014 for 4 straight night and doing same this year in 2015. They are improving and serving better and better food. I would recommend at least a sushi snack before going out to paety if you can't eat dinner. Great job guys. Will always come back.

This is my second time there, and I feel it deserves a review…read more A friend took us to this little restaurant which is kind of themed like a small mountain village. There are several open areas with tables and seating, and the two times I was there, they had some live music. The food was really good. I had the polenta with sausage ragu that comes baked in an earthenware pot (panela de barro). The polenta seems to be one of the things they do well there, but I would love to try the cappelletti sometime. I really enjoyed mine. That's just it. This is typical Italian immigrant food, you can find this stuff in other places in Santa Teresa, this is just well done and made with love, despite the crowd this place sometimes gets when it's busy. If you're visiting Santa Teresa, or anywhere at all, try the local foods, immerse yourself in the local culture. I liked this because it was unpretentious, affordable, and just really well made. Oh, and the beer was cold too. Really nice on a hot day. Although, some wine on those pleasant cold days Santa Teresa has sounds good too. Finally I want to add something about the people. It's a family owned business, and they were incredibly honest and approachable. I had gone some months ago, and lost my glasses. I left them my contact number in case they found it, but then I traveled, and had to switch my number. When I returned to the area, many months later, they had saved it for me in case I ever came back, and i did. And I will, next time I'm there. This was a really nice place, nice people and good food.
