Nina L. Hawkinson, Esq., helps individuals and public interest groups successfully navigate and, when necessary, litigate matters involving Landlord-Tenant Claims (specifically tenant protection matters generally involving enforcement of tenants' housing rights), government disclosure acts, Civil Rights Violations, Construction Law, Insurance Law, Business and Real Estate Litigation, Catastrophic Personal Injury, Products Liability, and Wrongful Death. She has experience in FOIA matters and matters involving a variety of state, local and federal land use laws.

Ms. Hawkinson started the Law Offices of Nina L. Hawkinson after passing the California bar, in 2010.
Meet the Business Owner: Nina H.
Ms. Hawkinson earned her Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne, College of Law, in 2009, and her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing, with an emphasis in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies Program, from the University of Vermont, in 2003. She graduated Cum Laude from ULV and was asked to participate in Moot Court Honors during the summer between her second and third years of law school. Ms. Hawkinson excelled in her legal writing and researched and earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for writing the Best Appellant Brief in the Moot Court Honors program. Along with excelling in academia, Nina was extremely active in student organizations and associations. She chaired multiple organizations, was the VITA National Student Director, an ABA Lieutenant Governor, and a Judiciary Committee Member for the law fraternity, Delta Theta Phi. Additionally, she was a founding member of ULV's Pride Law Alliance (affectionately called PLAY) in her third year.
