Additional - Gavin sent threatening messages after bad review. I am no serial complainer and nearly every review I make is positive (the account name he has given has only 1 review and that is against Nightingales - however after trying to simply attack me in email and websites publicly with lies instead of improving service, this shows more than anything what kind of people you deal with at this business. I had heard they were bad before, I should have taken more notice!
Ps - FACT I asked you twice to look at the bike to make sure the tyres ordered would fit and you said "no need, they'll definitely fit" - I reminded your staff of this several times when trying to return items. Under sale of goods act 1979 I hold you in breach of contract of the goods supplied, and not fit for the purpose made known to you.
Nightingales have never worked on my trike - not once (thankfully) - another more reputable shop maintained it but they couldn't get the tyres. I never asked for a refund of the innertube, I said I used it and I was happy to have paid for that. Only unused items were returned and refund requested but I was told they would charge me a 'handling fee'. Trading standards have said it should full refund for the unused items as I had asked them to check the size written on the tyres were right. I didn't order the wrong items, nightingales did and they had the same size written on the tyres as my own but were twice the size. They should have simply refunded me instead of adding a bogus handling fee.
Gavin has simply come on here to lie about me, about working on my trike which they never have and give abuse. I wouldn't go into that shop again if you paid me to. As you can see by his reply on here Nightingales as a whole has a reputation for bad attitude. read more
