I'm only giving Superior 1 star because I cant give them a 0…read moreI stopped past today with my brother to try to get some information on the correct dielectric grease to install the ICM on my 1998 Chevy C1500 pickup We walked in and I said hello to the kid working the desk I explained I needed to either purchase some dielectric grease to install the ICM because the lady at Orielly auto told me they would probably know and what she had on the shelf didn't specify the application. The kid at the desk said "I can't help you" then I said, "is there a mechanic I can speak to for 30 seconds?" to which he replied NO. Yes everyone knows that customer service is 'dead' in America and this proves the point. My brother looked at me and said "I sure know where I WON'T be taking MY truck when I need service" This kid at the desk should be fired if I owned the business. When Chris Walline owned it he was always more than happy to help someone out with any kind of automotive problem and do it with a smile. So, we drove over to Winslows by the tracks and Bruce was more than happy to explain what grease I needed to install the ICM and went as far as to just give me a small amount to do the job for free. So yes, customer service is 'dead' in America but there still are old school mechanic good human beings around here and there that don't think helping a paying customer out is beneath them. Bottom line, pass Superior Automotive and look for a shop that actually appreciates your business. William Edgar 5/28/2026

I'm not here to say anything bad about their work because they have looked at our vehicles and…read morehelped us out. But I was charged $350 for an hour and a half of work last time I took my vehicle in. I definitely would have said no had I known it was going to be $250 in labor for that amount of time. Will be going elsewhere from now on.
